Incredibly easy. Lectures had nothing to do with any graded material. Almost no grading. Quiz's every weekend online straight from a online textbook, very easy class. With a little effort it's an easy A

Easy enough class. Attendance is mandatory, but nothing discussed in class helps with the quizzes at all. Quizzes are always on the weekends online, even over fall break. Passionate about theater, but goes off on tangents and talks for hours. Refuses to post grades online. YOU WILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR GRADE IS UNTIL THE FINAL IS POSTED.

Wonderful man and wonderful teacher. It's just a pity I met him late into my Berry career and that Berry is a dry campus. I'da loved to have had a drink or two with him.

Comment:

Dr. Countryman is an excellent professor. Be prepared to sit through class listening to him passionately discuss theatre from beginning to end! He loves to talk about theatre nonstop. However, the workload is light and he gives NO tests! Quizes and projects are your only grades. I highly reccomend taking his class. I have heard that he is the best!

Dr. Countryman is an amazing teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, and you can tell that he loves theatre. He genuinely cares about his students. As long as you read the plays you will do well in the class. And if you listen to his lecture, you will learn a great deal about theatre and life.

Dr. Countryman is the sweetest, most kind hearted professor that ever existed. He may not grade everything, but that is because he values what you learn above how well you can write, which I can really respect. He will go out of his way to help you with whatever you may need. If you listen and do the work, you'll be able to learn a lot.
