Amazing Professor! Super easy class wasn't expecting it to be so chill. All exams are online so you don't have to go to class that day, 7 exams total 2 open book, online quizzes every few weeks. Learn info without any pressure, really caring guy just wants everyone to do well. Easy A and you learn a lot

Dr. McAnulty is a great professor! He knows a lot about the subject, and if you take notes on the things he goes over in class you're likely to do great on the exams. He is funny, ask him about his martial arts training.

While he can ramble, he is very knowledgeable. The bad news is his tests are hard but the good news is he gives points back. Definitely need to book to study for tests. Attendance is not mandatory but is helpful if you go, and he offers a few extra credit opportunities.

Not a bad teacher just all over the place. Never have I ever had a more scatter brained professor. This makes studying for tests much more difficult. If you have another option, try to take another professor.

poor teacher, not sure if he is correct when teaching the material. be prepared to teach yourself. tests are tricky and some answers tend to be wrong (good news is he will give you a few points back)

I took this as an online summer class. He is clear in expectations and grading also very response to emails. Readings were relevant and useful also key to discussions. Make sure you're making meaningful posts and post early in the week... he counts them on quality and on other's thread other than your own

Nice guy, but did not like the way he made tests or the wording on them. Also frequent pop quizzes that were fairly difficult if you don't constantly review material covered. I tried for an A in this class, but just couldn't manage it. If you have another choice and you care about getting A's like me, consider taking someone else.

Really nice guy, helpful if you ask questions. 3 tests plus a final, a project grade and pop quiz grades (you have to study for these pretty regularly). Attendance isn't part of the grade but if you don't show up you'll miss important material not in the slides. You have to study even tiny details in the PP to pass tests. Dense material.

A typical powerpoint "review" class. His classes are slow paced so that you can absorb the material properly. If you study his slides regularly, then you can make an A. TAKE HIS EXAMS SERIOUSLY even though his lectures are relaxed! Dr. McAnulty gives a class that is worth taking.

Great teacher overall-funny, loves to tell stories. However, lectures are all over the place. His tests are so difficult to comprehend because the wording is almost impossible. Don't expect to make a good grade without hours and hours of studying.

This class was tough and I had to do a lot of self teaching for myself because the material was a little confusing at times. He is a super nice guy, but does a lot of "topic jumping" during lecture. Just be prepared to go through the powerpoint on your own and put them in an order that makes sense for you and the information.

Love this guy. Ask him to do kung fu or self defense. Such a cool, very intelligent man. subtle humor that takes a while to catch. Loved his class. Tests are hard but if you like health and study, you'll fly through them. Speak up, he likes discussions. Go to class, he has powerpoints you need but he draws on the board. Cancels fridays a lot. Do it

He is interesting. Definitely write down everything he says. Study what he teaches weekly because he loves weekly pop quizzes. Cancels class pretty frequently. Study hard for the tests.

Such a fun guy to have a class with. He makes the material we learn relatable and brings up stories to help us understand. His classes become part un-intimidating discussion most of the time. Class is fun and informative. Labs are easy to complete, exams are taken from the notes, and extra credit is abundant. Definite recommendation!

This man is awesome, he gets sidetracked sometimes but always keeps the class fun. there are a lot of labs that arnt hard to do, exams are my only problem its hard to decide what is acutally going to be on the test cause he gets excited and talks about stuff you wont be tested on so much.

I love this Teacher.Have had him for smoking cessation class as well. He is highly knowledgeable, breaks complex concepts into easy to understand/remember, and is really funny. His tests can be tougher sometimes than some teachers but not much and if you study & come to class you do well.
