He is a great professor and willing to help you if you are struggling. The exams require effort. He gives an outline of what will be on each exam. On the exams he offers partial credit if you show your work.

I found Prof W to have a very clear, straightforward teaching method, which I really appreciated. Many other students seemed to struggle with the material, but they may have a different learning style than I do. He always goes over homework to make sure everyone understands. Extremely helpful and caring with medical accommodations.

Great professor. Basically lays everything out for you but if you dont go to class you will be behind. Cares a lot about his students and goes slow so everyone understands. Can get boring bc he goes so slow but better than not understanding at all. Gets a little ditzy but hes a great person and loves to teach.

Mr. Wengertsman is an awesome guy and professor overall. He cares about his students and does his best so you succeed. He emails very detailed notes about each topic with high lights on them and all. Test look very similar to the problems on those. Horrible at math but did well because of Mr. Wengertsman!!

He's a nice guy, I just don't think he teaches all that well. His lectures are long and boring, and he tends to mess up a lot of basic math while working out problems. His tests are fair, and he gives partial credit.

You would be stupid not to take this guy. Explains everything (sometimes too much), so you wont get lost if you follow along. Tests are open notes and he gives you a formula sheet. You have to be stupid to fail.

I agree w/ all others...he is an excellent teacher, very thorough and cares about your success in the class. You do need to do your homework otherwise the concepts may not gel. He is great for individuals where math is not a strong point. Treats his students as adults and with respect (obviously expects the same in return).

He is an excellent teacher who takes the time to make sure you understand the lessons being taught. He gives homework but also gives the answers with them. Homework is a MUST or you will not get the concept. I wished he would teach 201

I truly believe that faculty professors have the experience needed to teach than a part-time instructor. I don't like math so I need a good teacher and this instructor doesn't cut it.

Agree with the other two comments posted, however, because he doesn't rush through the chapters, taking Stat 201 is a little hard in the beginning. We're not really prepared enough to continue on to the next level.

Great guy, very kind and understanding. He is a part time instructor, full time statistician so he teaches from experience. For a 3 hour saturday class, surprisingly not boring and actually interesting (well at least for those who like math)
