I wish I could take this professor again for 102. She is one of the nicest most caring professors I have had at MSU. The way she teaches the class made it super easy. You have online hw due almost every friday but its not alot. 1 midterm an 1 final (she tells you everything you need to know). Also little assignments due but she goes over them.

Professor Metallo is the best. I had her as an Italian teacher in high school and would recommend to take her as much as you can. She is one of those teachers that is actually there because she wants to be there and because she wants to see you succeed. She is easy because she wants you to understand and learn the information. I love her!! She is literally the best teacher you can ever ask! I wish I could take her for ITAL102. She is so funny, likes to talk about food, very helpful, and nice. 2 Midterms super easy, 1 oral final exam (super super Easy), rarely homework, homework is very very flexible. AMAZING TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD AT MSU! EASY A!!

I will honestly never forget this professor. she is so funny and completely understands that most people taking Italian 101 and 102, are just fulfilling their GenEds. Would recommend this teach 100 times over. TAKE HER.

Professor Metallo is a phenomenal teacher. After taking Italian in middle school and high school, I've never picked up the language like this. I can confidently speak Italian after this class. Her class is engaging and fun and the work load isn't too time consuming. If you show up, participate, and do the homework you can easily get an A.

I LOVE her, she's the best Italian professor you can possibly take. She understands that you are most likely only taking it because it's a requirement and she does her best to get you to pass the class. She'll go over the same material if she needs to and she really helps you before a test.

I absolutely love her! She's straight up Italian and she makes my Saturday mornings worth coming to class. :) The material does get a bit tricky, but that comes with every language. She helps with anything you need in the class and is one of my favorite teachers! Take her class, you won't regret it! <3

had her for ITAL 101&102 on saturday mornings. favorite professor I've had so far. funny, always telling stories, always willing to help her students and is unbelievably fair when it comes to grades. a couple essays but she gives you the guidelines for the WHOLE thing. some studying is involved, but she makes the class fun & interesting. take her!!

Professor Metallo is by far the best professor present at MSU. She an amazing teacher, willing to help you and further explain material whenever needed, but she truely cares about her students and is not looking to overwhelm them with work and stress them with grading. HIGHLY recomend this class! Shes the best and is always wiling to help!

Super amazing TEACHER!!! I never though that learning Italian was so much fun. This is one of my favorite classes. Not too much work, ALWAYS take notes and you will ace it. She cares for the course and the students. I recommend her 100%!!

Understanding down to earth professor who presents the course materials in a way most everyone can understand. Italian is not an easy language to learn so don't expect to not do anything in class, but she realizes this and makes it entertaining and is more then helpful.
