He's one of the best professors that have ever taught me in baruch. he motivates you do to the work and he explains everything in great detail. his test weren't that hard if you studied the material and did the homework. take him if he's available!

This Professor really helped me understand math. 3 tests and a final, but all worth it in the end. he goes over all hw, never collects and does reviews before tests. its a bit challenging but i managed with a B

i liked him at first he is very stubborn though, if your good at math i recommend someone else because he will always try to prove you wrong. he does not like the students who know the stuff and takes it out on the grades my overall final was a 92.8 but he gave me an a- because he wanted the last laugh. avoid if u know math and want an A

Awesome Professor. He really cares about his students and he wrote his own textbook which explains everything thoroughly!!! and you dont have to buy it! He gives it to you FREE!(but u have to return it at the end of the semester)9 Quizzes,3 Exams a cumulative departmental final.He drops the lowest 2 quiz grades! DO THE HW! If not u wont do so good

He is a great professor! His lecutres are clear (if you pay attention you will know everything), frequent quizes (drops 1 or 2 lowest), few tests, homeworks are mandatory.. if you do whatever he tells you to do - you will do fine! [I dropped out of Shaw's class - not learning anything from him but Collis thought me everything that I've missed]

She is one of the worst professor I had ever had. She gives out tests which is BS for this class. She is a mean teacher and never conern of her student. She jokes a lot but they are not funny at all. If you are a ESL student, dont take her. For the others, if you think you are socialized, good luck!

Great professor. Haven't done math in years and did very well in the class. You take a lot of notes but it explains exactly what you have to do. HW is extremely helpful. Aced the final. Would definately take again if only he was still teaching.

Yes, his lessons are long and sometimes boring, but he does a great job explaning things. All you have to do is do his hw (once in awhile) and really study the material for the test. Also,study hard for the final because it counts alot! Great teacher for math
