professor does not respond to emails. doesn't put in grades. does not know how to teach the class, he has mentioned numerous times "I don't know how to teach you guys". Most people in my class are failing and he doesn't really do good at helping when you ask him.

Joe is so confusing it isn't worth it. You literally have to go to his office hours to get anything done because that man is so wildly confusing. You can sit in class for the full hour and still never understand what is happening. He prepares you for nothing. Get ready to teach yourself...

Joe is a very very smart man, however his lessons are very unclear. I find myself just playing around on my laptop. You are able to retake any quizzes you fail, as long as you get help from him first. He is very effective when he is one on one as opposed to teaching infront of the whole class.

Joe is a well rounded teacher that is compassionate about math and helping students. he does not push you to do anything but is there to help at anytime, very flexible. He is most effective 1 on 1. good sense of humor as well.

Joe is a brilliant man with horrible teaching skills. He can teach you anything one-on-one, but struggles presenting to the whole class. He cares a lot about helping students, especially future teachers, and if you go to him with a question, a favor, or even just to say hi he will greet you with a smile and do whatever he has to to help you out.

Comment:

Professor Witkowski is a great teacher. He is really nice and will help you whenever you need help. His presentations are good but sometimes unclear. However, if you ask he will explain things more. His tests and homework are not hard but also not easy (somewhere in the middle). You will have to study on your own a bit. Great class overall.

Comment:

Professor Witkowski is a great guy. I had a really hard time with statistics but he met with me almost every week and helped me so much. You can tell he really is interested in his students' success. I would reccommend this professor to anyone, as long as they're willing to put in the effort- stats isn't very easy for most.

A nice guy, just a little hard to comprehend some of the things he does in his classes. He does a lot of problems on the board and tries to explain them but doesn't do the best job.

Attendance mandatory, as long as you show up he will help you with anything. I redid all of my classes until I had all As or Bs. Read the book before class, he can be confusing to learn from. Great guy, really wants his students to succeed. If you need help, he will DEFINITELY help you. I'd suggest a class with him to anyone.

This class wasn't very predictable based on the title of the class: Applied Statistics. Every class you use an SPSS program on the computer which isn't bad and it's pretty easy. Ask questions if you need help. All quizzes and tests are take home because you have to use SPSS to do them and can't really be given in class. OK class. Joe is cool.
