The class is all reading (homework) and discussion (in class). If you don't do the readings, it'll be obvious and she'll be much less lenient with you. Tests are fairly easy provided you've read the material. Very, very sweet and understanding professor. Show up, do the work, and you'll pass.

Gets distracted/ off topic easily. Exams have 3 parts: multiple choice, true/false and short answer essay. The essays are questions she provides for each of the readings. She tells you what the test essay questions are the day before the test. However, you cannot pre-write your answers; you cannot have noted on the questions during the test.

ok prof. if you do allll of your rdgs and understand them and the lecture notes, you should be fine for the exam. i thought the exams were pretty difficult, sometimes the qu's were taken from very small details. the final paper was not too difficult, but it did take me forever to compl: START EARLY!!!!! also make sure you participate!!!!

I don't know why people complain so much about Dr. Grahame's classes. This is college not thirteenth grade! Do the readings, participate, and above all - learn the information. I admit, she assigns a lot of work, but do it and you'll be just fine.

She is biased!!!! If you acted stupid and submissive and you appear to be an upper class student she will give you a better grade. If you are a lower income working class student she will treat you like the s****on the bottom of her shoe. If you can, do not take her for a class, and if you are a grad student do NOT use her as a committee member.

Very Disappointed with this class. Honestly felt like a 400 level course. I mangaged to get a B- out of the class, but I had to work hard for it. She grades CRITICAL on the papers, and lets not even talk about the grading system. Such a shame considering how sweet of a woman she is.

Worst grading scale I have ever seen. An A- starts at 95%?!?! She is very critical of your papers so good luck even getting an A- in her classes. her lectures are also very boring but she is a very nice lady and knows her material!

Great professor. Learned a lot. Saw no indication of bias. Not easy, but it's difficult to learn a lot if the prof is easy. Class was on gender and I'm male, but saw no indication that she let her biases affect her grading.
