Comment:

Professor Smith is bad because she mixes up the agenda, but the syllabus was easy to follow. Everything she says would be repeated multiple times, and if you did one minor mistake, it is considered a failure.

She regularly changes her course assignment dates last second. She repeatedly talks in circles that are impossible to follow. She struggles to get to the point and often ends up avoiding the point altogether. She never even posted the worksheets for grammar but insisted they were there instead of checking. Lectures were a complete joke. DO NOT TAKE

Katherine Smith is a great teacher; albeit, it was hard to follow her instructions on some occasions. On a different note, you must work for an above-average grade in the class. The course load is quite heavy; however, it is still plausible to receive a good grade. If you turn in the assignments on time, Professor. Smith is pleasant to work with.

I honestly liked this professor even though she was very heavy on work. If you do the work correctly, you will pass. She gives great feed back on papers. Do not miss class, she WILL deduct you grade.

The syllabus was clear but the daily agenda was not! The professor will change the assignments after the material is provided to the class. Write down everything. Any materials provided during class, date it. Do not miss class. Do not be late or you will be marked absent. Extra credit will be available.

Wow the reviews here aren't kidding. I took her class two semesters ago and I was so frustrated with her. She doesn't let you write about fantasy or history. It's so rage inducing when you're in a creative writing class and you're not allowed to write creatively. Don't take her she's one of the worst professor's I've ever had despite getting an A.

she is very unclear when she talks about assignments. She is rude when a student asks a question. once she told a student "stop asking questions, you're taking forever to do your work!" she doesn't let you express yourself in your essays even if you met the requirements of the essay. she's horrible at teaching

When I looked up Professor Smith here at the beginning of the semester I was terrified. I'm not good at English. But she was actually pretty nice. I worked really hard and had to write some papers twice. She gives a lot of feedback and expects you to listen. I came out of class thinking I can finally write a paper. She's a good teacher.

She is TERRIBLE! She does not know how to teach, she argues with students A LOT and does not let them express themselves. She also makes no sense when grading the papers and it has to be EXACTLY how she wants it or else she will make you re do it or will give you a no grade! Good luck if you ever have her!

Smith is the worst professor I've ever had. She wasn't a harsh grader, but I could never read her terrible handwriting. She treated my classmates and I like we were stupid and didn't understand what she was saying. I literally got marked absent for going to the bathroom! She'll repeat herself for 10 minutes as if we didn't hear her at first

This teacher has done nothing but confuse me. Last semestar i had no issues with english, but this semestar, pro smith makes it impossible to right an essay. The worst part is, she doesnt even know what she's saying! I have tried multiple times go gst help from her but all she does is confuse me more. I feel helpless in this class... save your time

Professor Smith rocks. I've had her for both fiction and poetry. She is an excellent poet and gives insightful feedback. Passing the class is simple: show up, read what's assigned, write what's assigned, and most importantly: take her feedback seriously and kill your darlings. She expects significant revisions between drafts.

I began class excited to be fulfilling my arts requirement with something I used to love. I always thought poetry was creative but she has such strong opinions that don't necessarily correlate with real poetry guidelines, just only her opinion matters. And she can be very condescending. I understand what she's trying to do but I would not recommend

She is the most confusing professor! She always tends to get off topic talking about her life and other things.she only wants essays done in her way. essay corrections take way to long to complete. Shes way too strict with attendance and using the bathroom. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! WASTE OF TIME!

this professor is excellent in that she really understands what she is teaching. not so great in that she is a bit rude and absolutely refuses to answer questions when she is unclear about an assignment - which is often. i don't regret taking the class. i just wish she wasn't so strict and unclear.
