Comment:

Professor Poje is so dedicated to make sure no student is left behind. His lectures are so full of energy and his personality makes this class not as bad as its material is. There's a lot of material, but he does his job great!

he is so good professor. i took this course in fall 2019, when the college was closed due to corona virus. he did a lot of effort so we can understand. i appreciate him.

Comment:

His lectures are a bit on the heavy side. He goes fast on his lectures, so try to keep up. He gives a ton of examples on the topic that is being discussed. So if you pay attention in his lectures, his class will be a breeze. That being said, his lectures are easy to follow, he explains clearly.

I think he is a good teacher. I took MTH330 and 233 with him. He doesn't collect HW which is best for lazy people like me. But if you do his review sheet you can get good grade. He is NOT a harsh grader.

He didn't really teach Matlab, we just learned from the program. However, he'd answer any questions you had. He was really funny and friendly, and tried his best and went the extra mile to make everyone pass

Poje is a great instructor, but a very harsh grader. The general consensus that calc 3 is easier than calc 2 was untrue in his class. You won't have a problem with him if you're excellent at math, but for those who aren't, I definitely don't recommend him, especially if they're only taking MTH233 to fufill a petty requirement.

I remember his class in math. He is an average professor. His class was kinda hard, but just the average. He is not the professor that explain pretty clear, but that does not mean he is confusing. He is average and he knows his stuffs pretty good. It does not mean that he teaches pretty well, but it does not mean you won't learn anything

Very intelligent guy, really knows his stuff. Probably my favorite professor at CSI so far. He will make you work for a grade, but if you have any questions just stop and ask and he will help you. Go to class, pay attention, and you'll do fine. Just don't fall behind because it can be hard to catch up.

Comment:

Professor Poje is great. One of the best math teachers I've ever had. His tests and quizzes are VERY easy. He doesn't collect hw, but its highly recommended that you do BOTH the online and textbook hw problems. There is extra credit questions on his tests. Even though he does teach at a high level, he does a lot of examples for each topic.

Horrible. Does not care what you do in class, no extra credit, no partial credit nothing if tests aren't good. Weekly quizzes don't mean anything. Doesn't check homework. Only take him if you can learn through a textbook. Don't take him if math doesn't stick easily with you. He moves fast and expects you to know everything . Very judgmental

DONT TAKE THIS CLASS. he does not care how great of a student you are or what you bring to the class. He only cares about the grades and expects everyone to understand his difficult way of teaching. No idea how there are so many good reviews on here. He does not care how you do if you are struggling. You have to teach yourself the text book to pass

Doesn't help students who are struggling. Doesn't curve or offer extra credit. Doesn't grade homework, instead gives weekly quizzes. If you miss a quiz, he gives you a 0, regardless of reason. He seems to like the tough guy persona, but that's really not conducive to learning. The material itself is some of the toughest out there, too.

The best math professor at CSI. Incredibly clear. Always available to help. Material is taught at a high level. He just gives so much to his students in terms of repsect and effort. However he is also the hardest professor at CSI math. If you are not prepared to do the work required to learn math (alot of work) you will not do well.

inspiring professor...he teaches very well in class however the tests are not as easy especially when you think you understand things in class. he is a fair grader but the tests are always harder then you expect. definitely a teacher that challenges you but is good enough to take
