Did not take Dr. Ward as an instructor but as the department head she is very difficult to work with because she does not respond to any messages, then, when you message her again, she says that she already covered "___" with you and repeats herself. I would not be reaching out if she answered my question already.... extremely annoying.

Kelly Ward was seriously one of the most confusing professors I have taken. When asked for clarification of assignments and the expectations, she was confusing and seemed to be all over the place with what she wanted from the students. She is really nice, but the midterm and final paper were tough, definitely not an easy A.

Really helps with the adjustment to MU. Answers any questions that she can. Very nice lady. If you participate in class and raise your hand you'll get good grades. Not a lot of work during the year only one major paper at the end. VERY GOOD CLASS!

She is absolutely AMAZING! She is always helpful and there are times where we will get off topic but they are school related ALL of the time. She tells it how it is and is absolutely wonderful! I would DEFINITELY recommend her for a class.

She is helpful and accessible. She is engaging as a teacher and applies a lot of real world examples to theories. Her grading is fair. Some assignments (this is not her fault probably, but the fault of the curriculum) include sections not covered in class. Being graded on information not sufficiently covered is problematic.

She tells it like it is. What she does is very admirable. She is a tough grader and what she gives is really what is deserved. I would recommend her to any student who is willing for a challenge and wants a grade earned while learning substance in the process.

this class is easy and a lot of fun. You copy notes off of powerpoint every class period and discuss them during the class. We always have fun discussions. Also she's very clear and explains everything well. Definately take her class!
