He's a good guy, but only teaches to the most advanced students' level. I didn't take calculus in high school, and have consistently found myself more than left behind. Pace was way too fast. Oh, and don't expect to pass the tests, just attend every class, do the homework, and do the labs to try and balance the failed tests.

Absolutely the worst decision of my life to take this class. He teaches to the pace of the most advanced student in the class so if you are not familiar with the material you don't stand a chance in getting an A. He only does one example of each topic so you don't really learn the topic. The grader of the test grades extremely hard.

reads at the board, counts showing up as participation and is a very bad prof in general the only upside to this class was his study guides are the same as his exams so if you don't want to learn anything then take his class but other then that steer clear.

Lecture is terrible and doesnt really answer questions in class. The exams are exactly the same as his reviews so that helps but you will need to figure everything out on your own.

Just a warning to those out there: he is a very smart man and knows what he is talking about. However, if you have not taken Calculus before takeing his class you will have a very difficult time. He has lots to cover and moves very quickly through the material. If you have taken Calc in high school, then he is a good teacher for you

Its usually you do well or do terrible. He a really good guy, but not the best teacher to teach a already tough class. Take only if you need too, otherwise there are better teachers out there Get 100's on the hw, participate and attend the class, it will help out in the end when you might need the curve to pass the class.

His class can get pretty long and boring at times. tests are hard, but the hw gives you an idea of the problems Wish you he was more open to questions during his lectures -Make sure you do well on the hw, so it balances out the failing grades (almost half his class will fail a test) -Do extra problems from the book

Overall his class was long and he did nothing but read from notes and copy them onto the board. When it came to tests he would give you exactly what you needed to study to get a good grade. Usually in the form of a practice test. Gives HUGE partial credit on tests! As long as you have a good start to the problem. Even if you don't get and answer.

He spends the two hours lecture in copying from his notes sheet! No break, no explaining, and no chance to ask. Even if you asked, he wont be able to answer because his english is horrible. Gives tough tests, don't expect extra credit from him, he thinks that he will pay for that! (I guess) He is the worst professor i have ever had.

He does not explain anything. Copying from his papers. Also he does not give his students a chance to write and understand. We were just copying whatever is on the board. Moreover, almost each lecture we have correct his mistakes! He does not give any minute as a break, the whole two-hours lecture we spend in copying. stay away!

A dedicated professional who appears to not truly engage in the class. Questions asked on message boards are repetitive and seem to lack interest. I have had to e-mail the professor due to a personal problem (I was a late add in the class) and alas, there was no response. I tried back again and nothing.

Comment:
Avoid this professor at all costs. His lectures are terribly long and monotonous, and although he gives very detailed notes they are confusing and do not explain things concisely. He also grades extremely tough, so if you don't solve questions exactly the way he wants, then prepare to lose about half the points - even if you get it right.

Does not have firm grasp of english language. Profusely reads and copies note sheet onto board with no direction. While everything he is saying and writing does make sense if you understand it, it is distributed as if he doesn't understand it because it is simply transcribed from note sheet to chalk board.

Horrible, all he does is lecture for 2 hours straight. No breaks, no jokes, and has a horribly monotonous tone. Doesn't collect or grade homework that is assigned despite the fact you NEED to do it do pass this class.. cant answer questions to save his life... just doesn't understand them, no matter what. Quiz's and Tests always announced last min!

Notes are good, very boring class to sit through, test are hit and miss. If you study notes and sample test it may or may not be relevant to the test. Class average for test 1,2,3 was 66,86,50. He does have a curved grading scale which helps. I would recommend a different professor if one is avaliable.
