Larry likes to talk A LOT... about anything. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING ALREADY OR HAVE A FRIEND IN THE PHOTO DEPT. He's actually hard to understand he rambles on so much.. i don't know how else to describe it. The first 2/3 of the sem we did nothing, then he tripled the work load 3 weeks before the final!!

Comment:

Seems like a nice guy, but terrible at explaining. Instead of laying out a step-by-step process on how to develop film, he talks about developer then jumps a few steps away to fixer, then talks about photo-flo (last step) & goes back to rinsing. If you mess up or ask questions, he acts condescending, like," Didn't you take notes?"

I had this man for color and he's awful. All he cares about is himself and his horrible stories that he feels you need to know more than actually utilizing class time to teach you about photography. He thinks he knows all and is not helpful at all. We did nothing the entire semester until the last 3 weeks when he felt it was necessary to shove the

he spends most of the class telling stories about the navy, and you don't get into what he wants to teach you till like the last 20 minutes of class, thus since all that time is waisted the last 3 weeks is packed of just work (we have a project due every wednesday and not nearly enough time to shoot, develope, and print for it)

Larry Gregory isn't anything special. He loves to talk about himself more than photography. Wish we had more lab time because the lectures were sleep inducing.

Larry Gregory helped hone my craft and went out of his way to spend time critiquing and narrowing down my focus. He helped land me an amazing job and I am thankful for everything he has done. I noticed if you are not talented or have the drive to be a photographer, he won't give as much individualized help as he did to me. A wealth of knowledge and experience.

the case here is simple, old man too comfortable at his job. comes to class too late and disrespectful at times. makes you feel like a dumba**. if you keep your distance and work youll be fine. Intemediate dosent get much work but beware the last 3 weeks, he dumps work all over the place.

He was awful, I was very interested in photo before this, but all he did was act like he knew EVERYTHING about photography, and that nobody could EVER be as good as him. Also, he always twisted my ideas around into something bogus and I totally lost interest.

This man should not be teaching. He blabbed endlessly about the navy and spent most time making catty comments about other students behind their back. Made me want to smash my camera with a hammer and switch majors. Thank you for killing any passion I had about photography.

Walks in to class with no idea what he will be teaching. Doesn't really teach anything. Gives no indication how youre performing in class. Changes mind about projects and deadlines continuously. The worst professor I had in college. Negative attitude.
