Oh boy this guy was tough. Mandatory lecture because he took role. He reads off powerpoint READ the textbook its a huge help. Also study your butt off for the midterms. I do not know how I passed with a C but i do not care I passed good luck.

This class was so boring! I literally could not keep my eyes open in lecture. He reads everything from a powerpoint, with information that comes straight from the textbook. The tests are extremely difficult and almost impossible to get even a c on. I do have to say he is very helpful if you ask. Make sure to attend class because roll is taken.

This is one of the most boring teachers at SSU. I couldn't follow his lectures for more than 5 minutes. He is a smart man, but doesnt know how to present information to the students. If you don't mind reading the book and studying on your own, you can pass easily. He takes roll but his lectures are hardly worth going to.

Shotwell is a boring teacher! He takes attendence so I had to go. Read the text and you will pass the tests without a problem! He curves his test. I went from a 79 percent to 88 percent on one of our tests! Worth taking if you need a good grade in this specific class.

Smart man and definitely knows his stuff, but too dull to pay attention to. I'm sure it wouldn't be so bad, just don't take his class in a four hour block on a monday night - makes it very hard to pay attention. Lectures come straight form the textbook.

Shotwell has to be the most boring professor on this campus. He talks monotone for 2 hours and you do not learn 1 thing. He gives out study guides but they do not help. I got more out of the book than his lectures. Avoid him

All you wussies who don't even want to try in college need to suck it up and and realize you are wasting your lives being pussies. He is a great teacher who will make you learn the subject if you only would try. He can be monotone at times, but if you just soldier through it you will be fine. He is a very smart man whom you can learn a lot from.

He is SO boring. But not hard. Do the homework try to pay attention... but if you don't just read the book. Study for his tests. He gives out study sheets before tests and gives practice tests which help a lot. Also... If you don't do very good on the tests don't sweat b/c he gives out extra credit!!
