She's incredibly condescending and rude. Her attitude is so awful, it doesn't make us feel like we can ask questions. Her tests are very hard and she is super picky about how you answer things on tests and assignments. If you don't say it her way, you're wrong. There is no textbook and her PowerPoints are terrible and no help.

DO NOT TAKE HER FOR BI100!! I have never skipped any of her classes and I am currently failing. She is a sweet lady but an awful teacher. If you are a bad test taker, really DO NOT take her because your entire grade is basically based off of the exams once every two weeks.

Professor Boyd is always willing to help me understand. Whenever I have a question she makes sure that I understand what she's explaining. Sure her lectures aren't helpful and she grades hard and there's a lot of outside work. But if you stay on task, do all assignments, and show up to lab then you'll be fine.

She's the worst professor on Campus. The class consists of only quizzes and tests. The study guides aren't helpful whatsoever when it comes to test. If you plan on passing this class, it's better off that you teach yourself the chapters and refrain from putting off reading. I would not recommend this class to anyone.

Dr. Boyd taught my Biology Lab. Very challenging. Every class period you turn in your pre-lab, take a quiz on the previous lab, do several exercises (labs) and turn in a post-lab. She is a TOUGH grader. The labs aren't always explained well so it can get confusing. However, if you ask her for help she's always willing. Prepare to WORK for your A!!!

I do not recommend this class. Tests are extremely tough. We had 5 and at least 10 quizzes. Need to be able to pass 4 tests with C to pass.

Her lectures aren't very organized. You have to pay attention. If the subject was boring, it was hard. Lots of quizzes! Took 20 total but only 16 counted towards grade. Study your notes!

She is one of the worst professor on campus. She has a terrible teaching style, not only that but she doesn't have any textbook for the class--which make things harder,and her lecture are unclear and are not on the test. Avoid her at all cost!

Wonderful class, you must pay attention and attend class. Study guide is very helpful with test prep. Very willing to help students. Homework is easy but she is a tedious grader.

For lecture her powerpoints are all pictures and she talk pretty fast and you don't have time to write down all the notes. The tests had information on it we never went over in class. The tests were very difficult. When I went in to get help from her she gave me an anxiety hotline phone number. I would not advise taking a class from her.

I loved Dr. Boyd. She was always so excited to teach. I wouldn't say she's an easy teacher but you definitely learn from her. She's always willing to help as long as you actively seek for it. I Can't wait to take her Vertebrate Embryology Class

She has easy homework, but you have to write your notes. The powerpoints she shows are mostly pictures so you have to write down what she says. She gives you a study guide for test but they are still a little difficult. Also, for the Biology of Behavior class do not get the textbook. I never used it and it is not required.

She was my biology teacher. She's very nice. She was understanding and accommodating when I had surgery and had to miss a lot of class. She's a little crazy though...I don't know if I like it or not. Her tests are really hard but the homework is super easy. Also, you don't need the textbook in her bio of behavior class. So that's good...
