Comment:

Very letture heavy and if you do not show up to class you will miss a lot of material. Very good with one-on-one work so if you are confused go see her in her office hours. Take good notes and study hard.

I was on the line of a passing grade (C) and a non-passing grade (D). I went in and spoke with her many days after class. When the final test came I scored a 69.5 (D) and she rounded me up to a 70 (C) because I had come to her for help. Moral of the story, ask your teachers for help.

Comment:

LOVE Dr. Peck. She's a great lecturer, snarky sense of humor and if you WANT to learn she will help. She's blunt, but not mean. She wants you to succeed but you have to be willing to put the effort in. Skip class under pain of death, it's not worth it. Tests are from the powerpoints. I'd take any class she teaches.

Dr. Peck is one tough cookie. She is straight to the point and will tell you like it is. She has a feisty attitude and doesn't put up with anyone goofing around, and if she doesn't like you you're doomed. My best suggestion is to show up to every class on time, take notes, and be an active participant in conversation.

She is very intelligent when it comes to lecturing on Human Anatomy. However, she is very intimidating to ask questions or visit in office hours. Her lectures are just the power point slides and does not utilize the white board in explanations. Her exams are tough. She did curve one exam even though her syllabus specifically states she does not.

Peck is hard but you will learn all you need to know and more. She is definetly the professor worth taking. You need to make sure not to do anything foolish like forget to put your name on a paper or disrupt class or she will call you out and snap at you in class. Some say she is mean but as long as you do your work she really is not bad at all.

She is a good teacher and her class is easy; but never go to her for advising. When i asked her to talk with me about two career alternatives she told me to go to Google and look it up myself. She was very very rude about it and i will never respect that women because of how rude she was to me.

ONLY TAKE PECK FOR ANATOMY!!! She knows what she is talking about and she has sooooo much experience! She has good stories every single day. I missed only 3 classes. I was excited to go everyday.

Dr. Peck is a very intimidating woman. She knows her material! Her tests are long and they make you think. She has her moments where she's either really nice, or she's pissed off at the world. She always feels the need to stand really close when talking to you. She is willing to help you though. Her class takes up a lot of time!

Dr.Peck can be very nice and other times not so much. She is very intimidating. She teaches at a very high level. She expects you to know it because she does. She does not care about the grade you get. She says she does and then when you go and talk to her about it, she has nothing to say. I think she is by far one of the worst teachers of AP.

She is good at teaching the material. Her tests are kind of hard and long but if you study hard you will do fine. She gives plenty of homework and makes sure you understand the material. If you don't work hard you will fail! Don't really like her outside of teaching though. She is very forward and can be rude. she has her good days and bad!
