I'm currently working on my second bachelor's degree, and Dr. Unico is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. I HATE chemistry, but actually found myself looking forward to going to her class. Lectures were helpful and enjoyable, and expectations were clear. I'd highly recommend taking her for CHEM140 if at all possible.

Biochem was a challenging class. Very little homework, but you have to start studying far in advance of exams, and read the textbook. Her lectures are informative but fast paced; the textbook will help clarify things. Labs are not bad at all and can usually be finished with a lot of time to spare.

She is a wonderful professor. She excepts a lot from you but it really prepares you for more difficult classes. She really tries her best to make sure you actually understand what is going on. She's tough, but one of my favorite professors. She has exams every 2 ish weeks. It's a pain but you learn to like the fact.

You need to read the book, and her notes are only outlines of what you need to know. She's tough and will make you work. She expects a lot out of her students.

Dr. Unico is one of the best teachers I have had. She is very funny, and knowledgeable. She teaches her way out of the book, writing notes on the board each day. She uploads practice sets for the tests. As long as you practice for the test you will do great. unfortunately I didn't have her for lab. But I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Unico is a straight forward and to the point professor. I had her for 2 chem classes. If you don't try and fail, that's on you. Don't expect things to be sugar coated. Her lectures are very true to the material you will tested on. Hand outs and "practice HW" will help for exams as well. Read, rewrite your notes, and understand to be OK.

Is class is very hard. I took it with Dr. Renn and had to withdraw, but with Unico, it was still hard but easier to understand. She gives you handouts, worksheets, and the key to all the exams so you can use it as a study guide for the final because it is cumulative. Study, study, study. If you put the hard work in like I did, you will get an A.

Straight to the point. Articulates the material through illustrations, notes, and supplemental handouts. Labs are clearly demonstrated in pre-labratory. No microsoft-excel B.S. Dr.U both knows the material and knows how to teach it to someone that is a beginner.

I would reccommend taking her, but maybe thats because i got an A.

Dr. Unico is one of the best teacher's I ever had. Go to class and take all her notes. Her tests are relatively easy as long as you are prepared. Do the problems she gives you and problems from the back of the book! Overall, I would take her again in a heart beat.

I'm not that bad at chemistry, but i had a hard time in this class. The first half of the class is Organic-Chem. This was very challenging for me. The next half, Bio-Chem, was easier and more interesting.I went to the tutors and Dr. Unico's office hours and she helped me a lot. Just pay attention and you'll do fine,I ended up with a B in the class

General Chemistry. Take Her. She may seem like she doesn't care, but she is a very helpful professor. I got an A in the class just by studying the notes and doing book problems. Go to class, ask questions, and pay attention and you'll do fine.

Dr. Unico has a tough exterior, but it very caring when you get to know her. She doesn't give anyone a break and tries to be as fair as possible. She knows what she is talking about and loves telling stories pertaining to the current topic. Study your butt off and come to class and you shouldn't have much of a problem

Dr. Unico is intelligent, fair, insensitive, and a knowledgeable expert. Don't expect her to go easy on you, and don't expect her to play games. You will learn a lot, do a lot of work, and might scrape an A if you are exceptional. Don't take her personally, it's all business there. She cares about teaching methods & goes out of the way to help.

Great teacher for beginners. Do the odd numbered questions in the back of each chapter, and I mean ALL OF THEM. She teaches things her own way, which may hurt students wanting to go into higher chemistry courses. Test are fair if you study. Memorization is a key part of this class.
