Easy going, lenient but weird professor. Goes off topic so much and class is literally a waste of tim. She's a tough grader but does allow rewrites. Pretty easy class.

Cohen is literally the worst. I'm taking her now and we never get anything done. She is a very lenient and easy going professor, however she teaches us nothing. She's very repetitive of stories that have nothing to do with the class. We don't go by the syllabus at ALL. Take her if you don't want to learn and get an easy A.

she is very lax and will often go off topic. 3 papers that are about 2-3 pages and a final paper thats 5. she is a harder grader then she appears but if you really revise your papers & make sure its perfect youll do fine I got an A. recommend for a basic writing class

Easily distracted. Do not, I repeat, Do not take Cohen. You will not learn anything about writing because she is too busy talking about Scott Pelley of the CBS Evening News. And she loves to talk about stories of Syracuse and the 70's. I've learned nothing and I regret taking her class.

Overall she is a very nice professor but is very unclear and when it comes to grading, you may as well have written in a different language because I don't think she even reads the papers fully. She rambles on and on and on about nothing during class and is very funny!

She's def out of her mind without a doubt and sometimes you'll spend all class talking about god knows what. Her assignments are fairly easy though, like 3 papers all semester and she lets you make up one paper per semester so you can make up your worst paper. Your also allowed to hand in one paper late. She's very understanding. I liked her

she is nucking futs!!! everything she talks about is irrelevant, everyone in class just looks at each other and laughs b/c the things she says are ridiculous. all of her stories are hypothetical. she's a tough grader but always answers emails and returns papers that u can re-write and hand in late w/o penalties. but u dont learn much

This professor is nuts. Her class is very easy but she is an unfair grader!!. She contradics herself and goes off on tangents for the entire class. If you want your gpa to drop and you don't want to learn anything this is a great class.

One of the Best Teachers Hofstra Has to Offer when it comes to writing. Shes a New College Professor. Does all the work for you!!!! You don't even have to purchase a book. You will hardly do any work in class
