Easy A if students follow her assignment sheets to the letter. DO NOT DEVIATE from what she writes on the essay assignment sheets. She grades leniently and you have to have awful English to fail. Classes are mandatory attendance and are extremely boring. Other English 100 classes had easier assignments, so only take Brofman as a last resort.

Very biased teacher. She didn't like me because I skipped class a lot in the beginning. After I started coming regularly she wound deliberately ignore my questions and requests for help/clarification. I barely passed the class even though I excel in English. In fact, I loved English before I met her.

PLEASE RUN AWAY IF YOU CAN! She will make your life miserable. Makes jokes that only she can laugh to. Attending lecture is a pure waste of time but mandatory. She is a very biased grader, ie, write on a topic that she supports or has an interest in if not you are guaranteed a C or less. Do all the paper revisions that can much improve your grade.

The single worst teacher I have ever had. She obviously does not know how to teach. She likes about five people in the class and everyone else she She hated me with an unimaginable vigor. I lost interest about this class by the second paper. I now realize why her class was unfilled. yoU Must Be Crazy for choosing her.

Took class Fall 2007, but ratings so far are accurate. Very sarcastic, dark sense of humor, makes non-sensical jokes and is fairly awkward to talk to. I was one of her favorites; if you're a decent writer you will be, too. About 5 essays, midterm, final not bad if you do exactly what she says. Lectures pointless, but mandatory. Frustrating!

I loved English before this class. The "Y" part of the class was completely pointless and a waste of time. Just take the normal Eng100. Brofman DEFINITELY plays favorites and she has her people in the class that she DOES NOT like at all. I was one of those. I'd ask for help and she'd give 1 word answers or ignore me. Dirty looks, sarcasm, rudeness

Brofman wasn't that bad, though she can be a bit odd. 4 papers, 1 research paper, essays for the midterm & final. Not hard, but not exactly easy so if you work hard you'll get an A. Extra credit for going to the writing center; take advantage of that. "Discussion" with Arooj and Lisa was pointless and a waste, just grad students on a power trip.

She's a tad off the deep end. Bring a caffinated beverage, find a spot on the wall, and zone out. She awkwardly laughs when she can't speak complete sentences. Lots of papers, but she does grade fairly. Do the work, show up for class and you'll do fine.

I would like to think that I am not picky with my teachers and try to adapt to them as best as possible, but Brofman is quite possibly the most ridiculous teacher I have ever had. She is very sarcastic, rude, and also loves to play favorites. This class was slightly infuriating and stressed me out more than any other class I have ever had. AVOID

She is quite possibly one of the worst teachers i have ever laid my eyes on. She will make you redo a paper if it is not up to her "MLA" format. If not for the mla it will be about something else ridiculous. And you will have to go essay after essay after essay.She does not stop giving essays. We must have had about 8-9 essays this one semester

I do NOT recommend this teacher under any means. She doesn't explain much at all during class and usually talks about random things. her laugh is annoying and she definitely plays favorites. Also assigns many essays and her grading is not concise at all. Suck up to her and you might get an A, other than that good luck if you decide to go with her..

Lots of readings and papers to write, her "lecture" is just talk about current events and whats going on, she is scattered in her lectures but its ok as long as you do the work. If you dont show up for class or are consistently late, you are screwed. She isnt a disagreeable person at all, just show that you want to work hard and get an A.
