let me tell you...im not a confrontational person, but this woman made me snap. yelling at eachother in the hallway and all. i did well in the course over all, but was not thanks to her. she sees art as something that is done her way and apparently if its not how she would do it then its crap. if youre going to take this class have alot of patience

this class was fun at the beginning until you realize how boring it gets. everything you do she will praise and say it looks great but then you get a low grade on it for the most ridiculous things. ex. i got 6 points off one project for having a stray mark of rubber cement residue. the class is so dumb, and she is annoying.

i had taken alot of art classes previous to being stuck into this class last minute ... i was bored out of my mind, kindergarteners could do the projects and she took over everything you did until she liked it. she was boring to listen to, too.

No ARTISTIC freedom whatsoever. Every project you did, she would pick at until it was HERS. This comes from a 4.0 art award recipient. In addition, she has the appearance of a monkey. Stay away!

Nice lady but the most annoying person to listen to! She blabbed on and on about ridiculous subjects with no point. She wasn't helpful and graded low after complimenting the work. Also, her choice of music was terrible.

she is a nutcase let me tellyou. "Do whatever you want, its your project" she sais...."oh its wonderfull, i like that" she sais....but when you see your grade, and the anal retentiveness of her comments. OMG....not mentioning the money u spend pissing down the drain for the cost of the class.

do not take her class. She is always making you change your art work to what she wants. You can't express yourself at all!!! If you question her about what she wants you to fix and why she makes you feel like a child. She also favors the men in class. She will even find flaws in famous works of art

Don't take Art 100 with this professor. She has good intentions, but with every "fix" you make on projects, it becomes her project instead of yours. She's got a lot of knowledge and could be very helpful if her help wasn't so pushy and annoying.

I thought that Marcia was a great teacher, very helpful. If you needed any help she was always there. She also let you turn assignments in late for the same credit and even let you attend different classes if you were behind or missed your own class.

Don't take her unless you can afford to flush an extra $300 in supplies down the toilet. Book is a waste of time & she makes you correct the most stupid things. I got an A in her class & there were people that did better work than I did & she failed them.

Every assignment I turned in she would ever so sweetly have me make corrections on it...and these were anal corrections. She makes us listen to annoying music, no pop, rock, country, etc. She'll say the class is doing GREAT! but then grades us low.

This teacher is terrible!!! I felt as if I was in Kindergarten again! I could never come in late or else I was made fun of. I couldn't even go to the bathroom with out her coming to look for me! She was a hard grader! Didnt help at all!! DONT TAKE HER!!!
