Comment:

Such a kind woman. The class was not difficult and she gave out a lot of extra credit on homework assignments. Quizzes were easy and so was the project it was more so just a waste of time. Tests sometimes seemed to have questions out of nowhere but still possible.

Comment:

I took her because I saw good review. I don't think she is the best, but she's alright. Lectures put me to sleep, she never reviews any test or gives us a review for the final. We do connect and learnsmart online(which cost 140$). Theres an inclass about once a week. We also have a huge project due around March.

Comment:

Prof. Roxas goes the extra mile to see students succeed. As an intro to accounting, the class isn't easy, but Prof. Roxas reinforces the material thoroughly, making a good grade achievable. Make sure to do all the homework (and there is a lot), it will help your grade in the long run. Highly recommended.

Comment:

8am lectures aren't super engaging, and they're redundant if you've done the reading. Still, Professor Roxas is a really nice person and class is not difficult. Easy quizzes or HW every week, 4 exams, 2 group presentations. Read the chapters and go through the T/F and MC questions at the end of each, you'll do fine on the exams

The lectures are boring and self explanatory. Roxas is a great, caring professor. Do the assignments/quizzes and youll pass. The tests are based off the book. Use the MC and cases at the end of the chapter. This is what the tests are made up of. The case problems on the test are easy common sense questions.

Make sure you do all the Connect and the HW on time, it will really help your grade. Show up to class because you will have to do inclass with partner, and every lecture is very important for test. Study study study for tests, they can be hard. She was very boring, but it's not a terrible class, but make sure you study for tests.

Professor Roxas is interesting to say the least. She is clear on what she wants but her lectures are boring and un bearable. Accounting is a tough subject for someone who has never taken it before like myself. Although, for someone who missed class 3 times, and clicked random answers throughout the online homeworks, I ended up with an A-.

One of the toughest graders I've ever had. The in class and online assignments are easy but they do not count enough for your grade. She gave insufficient information for test 3 and it was terrible, no one had a clue what was going on. She does not prepare you for these tests and they count the most for your final grade. Do not take this teacher.

Roxas is a solid accounting professor. Online homework and lectures during class. 4 tests throughout the semester but she tells you exactly what to expect. As long as you do the homework, show up to class, and try your best you'll do great! She does have a bit of an accent but it doesn't affect much.

Awesome class! Really hard to not pass this class. Online homework assignments are a breeze and will really boost your grade. Tests are simple, tells you exactly what will be on them. Just put in the time and go to class!

When she assigns homework, DO it. It will save your grade. PPS are on BB, and she does in class assignments with you. There's in-class homework that can be done with a partner. There's LearnSmart homework, and Connect homework. 3 exams - study for them. And final - cumulative. 1 big project. If you do the work, and study you'll get an A.

Awesome professor. The subject can be very hard to understand at times but she provides so many resources theres no way you won't do well. There is a lot of online homework but it ends up being really useful. She literally tells you what will be on the tests and gives study guides. I learned a lot and would deff take her again.

She is a nice lady. It is impossible to fail her class if you do all the learn smart and connect assignments. She drops the lowest one. You get 5 extra points if you go to an accounting society meeting. I got a D+ on two exams and managed to get a B by the end of the semester. She uses excel in every class so it's beneficial to the real world.
