Shes an excellent teacher and makes sure she knows her students understand the work and if they dont- exactly where they don't get it to teach further in that portion. She means business bit she still has a fun class with lots of opportunities for extra credit.

Comment:

She's an amazing professor. I wasn't doing good in her class at first but all the extra credit she gave really bumped my grade up. She has "study group" times where you get to meet with her and she helps you with problems. The quizzes were helpful to get grade up. If you put effort in the class she'll recognize it. Great professor.

Comment:

As a student with a learning disability, Marj was awesome. Very easy to work with and accommodating. She gives 20+ pop quizzes which you keep your best 14. The quizzes are problems from the HW. If you do the HW and turn assignments in early (Extra cred) you will get an A. She also has study sessions that you get extra cred if you go, plus extra help if you need it.

She is an amazing professor. She will take the time to help you with any math questions you have until you understand it. Don't skip class if you are a visual learner. Overall, it was an easy class. You will pass as long as you show up and put in the work. Definitely will be taking this professor again for my next math class.

Marj taught me how to do math. I was so horrible at it in high school and now I understand it. She is an outstanding teacher and a very nice lady. She is very helpful and brings treats. Also, there is a lot of extra credit available.

Marj is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. Whenever I had a question, she would email me back quickly. Marj is more than willing to help students that want to succeed. Easy A if you keep up with the homework.. The confidence I gained from this class will be useful when I skip Math 99 and go straight into College Algebra next semester! :)

Gifted and passionate, Marj exceeds all expectations. She puts student success as her top priority, while also giving you enough of a challenge to live up to. If you fall behind, she is more than willing to work with you to bring you up to speed. By far, the best math teacher ever.

Excellent teacher. Keeps a good pace in class but takes the time to help the class understand if need be. Marj is beyond intelligent. She will definitely help you one on one if you struggle with math. I hate math. She made is easy for me. I was a D student in high school and finished her class with a B

I don't like math. Loved this class with Marj though. Super teacher. Cares about students. Knows her stuff. Nice. Funny. Thoughtful. Posted final grade quickly. Applies Math to real life. Do the homework and do your best and you will get an A unless you have no head for Math. Marj rewards effort Portfolio, study session extra credit, halfcredit etc

Marj is a wonderful teacher! This was my first semester at RCTC and was nervous about having to take a math course since it has never been my strong point. Marj made each concept crystal clear to the point where I actually understand math for the first time, and don't despise the subject anymore. I highly recommend her, she is excellent!

Absolutely one of the best professors I have ever encountered. This course is not an easy A, but she makes you want to earn an A. She really comes down to the student's level and connects with them. I can honestly say that this course (and most importantly, Marj!) has motivated me to stay on course in school and set goals for my future!

This was a refresher course for myself but she made sure everyone understood the assignments and made all questions easy to ask and great answers to all questions. She is always willing to help you out, as long as you are willing to put effort into your work as well. Homework is optional but all tests are a must.

I hate math and she made it possible to tolerate it. Myself as a few others were returning students after a 10+ yeah hiatus and she prepared us for the further remedial tedious math classes. Very personable and helpful. Teachers the lower levels only unfortunately. Go with her or Benson INSTEAD of Stanton.

she is the best math teacher I have ever had. i am already enrolled in her next class. I wouls tell anyone who needs math classes to take her. Do you homework and you will be just fine. there is no way you can fail. she explaines everything to everyone. come to class and be a part of class and you will do fine. chapter test and one quistion quizs.
