Great teacher, but if you cross her you will NEVER be forgiven. She holds grudges for a lifetime. Be careful to not make her mad because no matter how much she likes you she can't hate you just as fast.

Marsha was Dean of Fine Arts back when I attended. She was fine in most respects, but super-busy and very hard to reach unless you were a theater student. She rode the professors very hard too. I made the unwitting mistake of making her mad and that was pretty much it. She never talked to me again.

Marsha calls herself, "Marsha MamaBear", and that is what she is-she is very protective of her students. Although I only spent one semester at LU, she definitely made my time there alot better that it could've been. She boosted my confidence, and made me a better actress.

Marsha is amazing! she brings her life lessons into her teaching and she expects you to apply your thoughts and intrests to your class work. She demands alot because she like to prepare you for the hard and sometimes not easy choices you will make in life. Marsha simply expects you to make an effort and do the best you can. She is not going to let you scrap by like most teachers, do the work in her class and you're fine. I know of many people who miss her classes from time to time and did not get any crap about it. Do what you are suppose to, like an adult and you will have no problems in her class

Worst teacher I ever had in college...and I went to Lindenwood, so that's saying something. Marsha was, is, and always will be a horrible teacher b/c she never acted anywhere but the Lindy; or maybe the Goldenrod...so that's not much experience. I think she may be the poster child for the saying: "Those who can't - teach." Sorry too be so negative...but she's a mean old lady.
