There are WAY TOO MANY PAPERS and none of them are interesting. Really tough grader, almost unfair. She won't tell you everything that's wrong with your photo until she grades it. Extremely boring lectures.

Comment:

She's nice but the class is way too much work for a GE (essays, attend exhibit speaker, and one of the projects requires going to get photos developed at a lab) more work than my major classes or any other GE I've taken. The lectures are LONG are very boring and she doesn't do much to make them interesting. Hard grader for photo assignments.

This class had a ridiculous amount of work for a GE. There were many papers that needed to be written and a lot of essay work outside of class, on top of the countless hours you will need to spend in the photo lab. This is the only art class I have taken that makes you do this much paperwork on top of art work.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PHOTO CLASS. Hers is the ONLY one that requires the book and makes you do written homework for the book as well as 3 other reading/writing assignments on top of the take home quizzes. I love photography but this class was more work than ever expected for a GE. I spent 8 hours in the lab on my final project alone for just 3 credits

she was really unhelpful and seemed to care less about really helping us learn photoshop. our lab had computer problems and she would just comment on how she hated the lab rather than halp get it fixed or help us work with what we had. If you are not an aspiring photographer she looks at you as if your dumb. Very boring and unhelpful.
