Professor Vorwerk is honestly sexist. Hes an ok professor, entertaining, seems inspirational at first but farther along in the semester his true colors show. Easily flustered by a short skirt and pretty fingernails.

If you have any sort of anxiety that impacts your ability to go to class/do work, don't take him. He won't understand it and is unhelpful. Had him as an advisor, hated it. I personally don't understand why so many people like him, he is uncaring and unprofessional in emails.

Outstanding teacher. Incredibly knowlegeable but he is also gifted in encouraging students and bringing out their best work. Very cool guy. He genuinely cares about teaching.

I took this class as an elective. Dr. V is the man. He ties all of his classes into the bigger picture of how we are global citizens with global responsibilities. If you hand in an assignment and he knows you are capable of doing better then he will pull you aside to give you help on how to fix it. This dude actually cares about his students.

In the beginning I thought he was a goof and that his class would be easy. But he assigns too much homework and expects it to be of highest quality. He is a very harsh grader. He was pretty mean to me at the end of his class.

Dr. Vorwerk is a good professor and for this class was pretty easy going. This was only a freshman seminar for 1 credit but still. Basically every assignment is participation. I would recommend him, he has a real passion for what he does, and it's evident. He works hard and wants to see you do well.

Vorwerk is the greatest professor I have ever had in my college career. He teaches you to prepare for the real world, and life after college instead of just textbook things. Any class with him would really benefit any student. I had him for an advisor as well and helped me out tremendously.

Amazingly helpful for anything you need, even if it isn't school related. If you try your best you'll get an A no problem, even if your best isn't very good. If you don't try or do your work, he won't get on your back about doing it, but it seems like he really wants people to learn.

Quirky sense of humor. reading the book isn't a must, but it helps. He isn't a stickler for attendance, but he notices when you aren't there and it may affect your grade. Teaches well, keeps people interested and offers quite a bit of extra credit.
