Really well versed on her subject, very extensive knowledge, easy to get along with. Does not mess around though, exams are BRUTAL, you neek to know and understand EVERYTHING thats covered in the chapters or you will not pass them, much less do well.

Amazing professor! Very to-the-point and clear about what you're expected to know. She's very nice and down to earth. Her tests are only hard if you're not prepared. If you put in the work and pay attention, you'll do well. In my opinion, she gets a bad reputation on here for no reason. She's a great professor!

She is really nice and kind of funny. Human bio is extremely hard tho! The only reason I did well in this class is because I absolutely killed myself studying. Her tests are VERY hard. She teaches a lot in class, but you NEED to teach yourself as well outside of class to do well. Very tough, but learned a ton and I can't say she's a bad professor.

Cool lady, class is not hard, material isn't even that complex. But she'll kill you on the tests. She makes them hard on purpose, I don't know why. She'll try to trick you on the tests. Most classes have an average failing grade. But I go to class and study my notes (which are good) and I get 80's. No homework or projects. Cool class.

Dr Walsh is misunderstood by many students in terms of her personality. She doesn't play the "Girly" role much of the rest of the female WSC staff do, and instead is just "to the point." It should be viewed as an asset and not a demerit. She expects more from her students, and other professors at WSC should follow her lead!

the material is very difficult, but she does her best i think to make it understandable with powerpoint lectures and a lot of pictures. if you take good notes and have good study habits it's not that bad. she cracks jokes every once in a while that are pretty funny. make sure you get on her good side right from the start tho!

she has her funny points, but overall if she doesn't like you, she lets you know it. Her tests are extremely hard, when you have a class of 30 with an average score of 62, it should probably tell her something about the tests being too difficult. i suggest finding another professor for your biology class.

A lot of people found this course hard, but I found that as long as you do your work and study, you'll do fine. I got a B+. Dr. Walsh is hilarious and I found that she makes the material fun and interesting. Her tests were a little on the difficult side, but its nothing some studying can't fix. Overall, I'd recommend her to anyone who exerts effort

Thought she was nice on the 1st day but she really is evil & admits it. Hate her teaching style. Goes all over the place & jumps btwn the board & power point. Tests are HARD! Labs are OK. If u miss a fact/note during lecture, better off asking a classmate. Don't ask her or else she'll be annoyed w/u
