For those of you who rated Michael Barnes as a poor professor, then I truly think you are just not made for printmaking. Printmaking is not a cake class and he takes the medium seriously. Make a mess, goof off, not invest yourself in the process, then you deserve to be torn apart. I am proud to say I had Michael Barnes as an instructor.

Mike gets upset with lazy kids.Messy students in the studio are hard on the expensive equipment.He invited everyone out to barbecues at his place or the local bowling alley to laugh life's stress away. Great personality and extremely talented. Thanks for the knowledge Mike!

You gotta love Mike! C'mon, he's talented and insightful and wants you to love printing as much as he does...and I do! His classes were a true learning experience and I was proud of everything I did. PS I never earned the "wrath of Barnes", so I never got it. Quit yer whining and respect the equipment.
