The best professor I have ever had, hands down. He's very passionate about his subject, and by the end of the course you might be, too. He's super understanding and will always give you extensions on assignments if you need them. Even though the subject matter was difficult, it was the only math class I have ever looked forward to.

Dr. Pinter is by far the best math teacher I've ever had as a student. He used real world applications and explains things so well. I'd recommend taking his classes especially if you're not a math person because he is easy to understand and cares so much about your success in his course... I actually enjoyed going to Algebra!

Comment:

Mike Pinter was born to teach. He has one of the most patient and caring hearts of any teacher I've ever had in my life. He is such an adorably sweet man, and he will go above and beyond to make students understand the concepts and actually make math fun. I was lucky to have him as a teacher. He's the kind of teacher you would go back and visit.

i loved this class. somehow pinter finds a way to make everyone love math and is amazing at making sure you actually understand how it works. he also cares about his students and goes out of his way to get to know them. the class was super easy and a lot of fun.

I had Dr. Pinter for First-year seminar. He is a very nice teacher and willing to make sure all his students are doing well. We started the common book, but dropped it because everyone hated it and it didn't really relate to our class. There is a lot of in-class discussion, but it is easy. The books were good. Extremely good teacher! The class is very easy. Save money and don't buy a text book because I never used mine. He is a very nice guy with a good sense of humor, and he is very personable with his students. If you don't really like math, take him, because he will find some way for you to like it.

I took Dr. Pinter for FYS. This was the BEST course I have taken since being at Belmont and that's thanks to Dr. Pinter. He really put time into planning this class. There is a good amount of work and reading, but it's bearable. Dr. Pinter is a very careing person and really takes an interest in his students. FRESHMEN: Take this course!!!
