He is super smart & knows A&P....BUT he is a horrible teacher....I learned on youtube & Kahn Academy...I spent hours teaching myself....his lectures are pointless...he does not clearly explain the material in a way it makes sense to you...ATTEND ALL LABS its a free 90-100 points, well worth it.

The class itself is very hard. you have to read a lot and memorize almost everything. But Mr. Fiabani is good teacher. he tells you what you gonna have on the test. Lab tests are pretty easy, the final test was easy as well, i expected much worse. As long as you read the material you'll be good in this class.However, there was just few A's in class

This teacher is completely useless.He goes over topics like we have been studying biology all our lives. So many people dropped the class .I am repeating the class because I didn't learn anything.If you ask him a question he will be very sarcastic and confuse you more than help you! Do not take him !!!

This teacher is not hard. He is very confusing, he only reads the textbook and that’s all. You need time to study so you can pass his class. Very very boring. he would say what will be on the test but when you are doing the test is like something new. Very tricky with the test.

It's not that he is horrible, it's just that he doesn't teach! All he does basically is read the textbook, something we can do on our own. He doesn't explain anything so basically you are teaching yourself. Thank God I am good with Science, but I feel bad for the people who aren't. I wouldn't recommend him.

Just had him for Fall, 2012. I recieve an B, but should have got an A. But his grading system may seem weird. I liked it though. The Best advice I can Give is to Read ahead, and then when hes going over lecture, You might understand it better. I would recommend him if, You would dedicate your time to studying and reading.

I wouldn't nominate him for Teacher of the Year, but I have no complaints. It's largely self-taught because he doesn't do a great job explaining things, but if you're good at science you'll be fine. If you need someone to explain things in a more basic way, take someone else. A got an A easily, especially since he tells you what's on the test.

You need to work super hard to get an A GRADE. You should have a lot of flash cards, use the A&P website, and read the text book in order to pass this class. Mr. Fiabane is perfect for you if you want to learn. Remember, he's not an easy prof. to earn a good grade, You should consider studying 5 hours a day at least if you have other classes.

I thought Mr. fiabane was a fabulous teacher! His Bio110 class is not easy, but neither is A&P. I studied almost every night, attended every class and actually listened. You'll catch all his nonchalant jokes which made me laugh out loud. Literally. Plus, hes a sharp dresser! :-)

Great teacher, you don't need to ask any question. He's very clear and organized. His tests are 6, each worth 110 points, attendance worth 90, Its really hard if you don't study at least 4 hours a day. I'm a foreign student, but I rarely got a low grade.You should do your job, the brain and the endocrine system are Prof. Fiabane lovely chapters.

Fiabane was not an easy teacher. Memorize memorize memorize the study guides and ppt's. Not very helpful and the class can be very monotonous. Also goes very slow in the beginning and crams everything at the end. Definitely need to read the textbook multiple times. Not an easy A class.

Great teacher, he's monotoned, and tries to make jokes. His class is a little boring but he explains things well. He tells you what is going to be on the test, lab is like a free test grade when you go. He will gladly help people if they need it. Im definitely taking him for bio 110

I took fiabone for anp1 and 2 his lectures are dry but i brought my text and read ahead and made notes and flashcards in class. the exams can be tricky but write every word he says for the 'review' and study. he grades by a point system and you know where you stand all yr. ATTEND ALL LABS its like a free test grade in total.

Professor Fiabane is a great teacher. His course is hard, and you will not get through it without dedication. AP II is a rigorous course,don't take him if you are NOT serious about APII. torky sense of humor that is a plus. One downside might be that his lectures are very monotone . Otherwise he is a good professor!

I don't understand all of these negative comments. I thought Dr. Fiabane was a great teacher. A little quirky with a dry sense of humor, but harmless. He expects you to take your own notes and pay attention, never tried to trick you and always gave hints as to what would be on the tests. I got an "A" and I work have 2 kids. It's college people!

very boring,the practice tests on the website myaandp.com very helpful, he moves slow in the beginning and then crams everything in in the end, extra points for attending lab so don't miss it, you have to study hard for his class don't fall behind. he seems to get annoyed easily and talks about his friends health problems.

Everyone told me not to take Fiabane for Biology but I love a challenge so I did. I got an A. He has his own ways of teaching but is a great professor as long as you do the work. If college was meant to be easy, everyone would have a degree so just do the work, study a week to 2 weeks prior to exams & you'll be just fine!!
