Comment:

Ms. Locke is a really good professor. She gives out extra credit and her practice tests are exact copies of real ones. Although she may come off rather strong, she is really helpful when asking questions. If you show up to class and read her hand outs, then you are 34 of the way done. Math is not easy, but taking Ms. Locke's class was fun.

I thought she was a great teacher you just have to be willing to put in the work! Her study sheets helped a lot and if you do her practice test you should pass every test! she just likes things a particular way and tends to repeat herself which can be difficult bt I got an A in her class compared to the D i got from my old teacher!

She doesn't go over homework. She gives no help in clarifying the material. She gets annoyed if you ask her questions. She's late to class constantly (15 minutes at one point). She grades harshly and will nitpick every tiny detail. Half the class dropped her because of her bad teaching. She's got no passion in teaching whatsoever.

I'm usually a math whiz, but Mrs. Locke makes math hard for the wrong reasons. She rushes through her lesson plans and will often change the syllabus. She gets very annoyed if you ask her questions or ask for help. She grades extremely harsh and gives no margin for error whatsoever. Unless you can teach yourself, I seriously advise avoiding her.

Comment:

Never before has a teacher made me feel so confused and frustrated. Her lesson plans stray from her syllabus. Her grading is extremely harsh. If you make a simple mistake you won''t get credit. She''s late all the time yet she berates students who are late. I''m trying to make it through this class but I''m about ready to drop her to avoid failing.

I came out of this class feeling exasperated. You basically have to teach yourself because as soon as she gives an example, she acts like you should already get it. She even acts like we should already know this material. She never answers questions about the material and even put material that wasn't covered yet on tests. Avoid at all costs!

Excellent Teacher. The most I have ever learned in any math class. She does expect you to do your work but if you do you will have NO problems in her class! Made it out with a 99!!

She is hard for the wrong reasons. She makes everything complicated. She wants you to show your work the way SHE teaches it. She's very nit picky about grading. Asking questions is looked down upon because she'll get annoyed at you for doing so. She made the class miserable and she will make you hate math. AVOID!

She's not only the most unhelpful teacher I've ever had, but she's also the rudest and harshest grader ever. If you ask her a question, she gets all worked up and annoyed. She also snaps at students occasionally. Not to mention if something isn't done her way in terms of showing work, or if your graph is off, she'll give no credit. Do not take her!

If you love math, don't take her. If you hate math, REALLY don't take her. She talks down to her students, her lesson plans are all over the place, and if you ask questions, she gets annoyed at you. Also, don't ask for help, or she'll give some remark that you should know this already. Unless you want to be frustrated, stay away from Locke.

She doesn't have any passion or heart in teaching. She's unhelpful in clarifying anything the material. She's late every day, but if you are late, you'll get the riot act from her. She grades harshly and expects you to show your work in the way she teaches it to you, or else your answer will be marked wrong, even if it's right. Avoid at all costs.

I don't understand how they can tell us as students to do rate my professors when you clearly have a problem and NOTHING IS DONE. This professor is by far the worst teacher i've ever had. She's late, you can't talk to her, and she nix picks your test so badly. DO NOT TAKE!!

I would figure out how to solve the problems she was teaching using my own methods, if you didn't solve them the way she taught them it was automatically wrong even if you get the answers right, it didn't make any sense to me. She's hard to talk to, and honestly if you value your GPA get another teacher. TRUST ME YOU DON'T WANT HER AS A TEACHER!!!

She teaches like she is teaching a class of fifth graders but she doesn't explain anything useful. She had packets which could have helped if she explained the material. I would never take her again for anything. The only reason I got a D was because I got a tutor.

EXCELLENT teacher for those who actually want to learn math. I always struggled in math and scared about Calculus, but she explained everything very well. She is strict, and you have to actually do your work, so if you're lazy you'll probably fail. I was happy with just passing, but I got an A in her class!

I would not recommend her to anyone. She will provide you with one way to solve the problem and if you don't solve it get way you get the whole problem wrong. She is not a good teacher and refuses to give you credit if your work is off at all even if your answer it right

Mrs. Locke makes math a living nightmare. She changes assignments all the time, she'll put stuff on a test that weren't even gone over in class, she never helps out students, and has a bad temper. She will give you a 0 if you don't staple a take home test. Save yourself the aggravation and stress and avoid this teacher at all costs.
