This teacher is terrible! Not to mention the book may as well be written in chinese, because none of it makes any sense. The tests are like the homework, but since the book is so terrible the tests are hard too. The class average is always like a low c or a high d. He never explains the concepts so you learn he just does practice problems.

Pretty easy class. Once you get passed his accent, the lecture isnt too bad. Attending lecture isnt really required because the book is easy to read (just definitions and small formulas), and the lectures (with practice problems) are online. Nice guy, tests were not tricky at all... very straight forward class.

Hated this class. 3 hr lecs = useless & incomprehensible. 2 midterms and finals were RIDICULOUSLY hard. Avgs = 40, 40, 50. Everyone I talked to said they failed the tests and/or were taking the class a 2nd/3rd time. TA's were okay, but didn't help that much. AVOID CLASS, take management instead!

As someone mentioned before, he teaches in a methodical way and just reads off of his slides for 3 hours. It's hard to pay attention and stay awake in that class. His tests are o.k. and he gives pretty generous curves at the end of the quarter.

Ahadiat was so-so. He wasn't great, and wasn't terrible. He taught in a slow, methodical way which wasn't inspiring. He got the job done, so to speak.

so here are some statistics: midterm 1,2, and final means were 68, 53, and 47 accordingly. class is super boring. 3 hours of homework review (which TAs do in dis) and going over powerpoint slides from the publishers website. tests are really hard. offers some e.c. but his syllabus is all screwed up so u wont know how it counts.

Overall a decent professor, and just a nice man. He cares about the students which isn't all that common for econ profs at uci. Yes, the quizzes can be hard, but some are easy and he drops the lowest. The class tends to start out hard, but it becomes easier. This was my second class with him. Use lecture to learn and not sleep and you'll do fine.

Honestlsy, he's not as bad as people make him out to be. Yes you cant understand him but during quizzes and tests he will HELP YOU if you ask for help. It's a tough class and his tests arent easy but he helps clarify some of that language on tests that you may not be familiar with. I started off bad but it seems like his class got easier.

By far the worst teacher I have ever had. Claimed to curve class everytime someone asked him but in the end it was not curved. Hard to understand and test were insanely difficult. Even the quizzes were difficult. AVOID TAKING HIM!

nice guy but does not inspire you to learn at all. Subject concepts are easy to learn but he makes his quizes and tests really hard. Also, he is not very responsive when it comes to student emails and is not that honest. He is what you would call a slacker professor.

This is the most boring professor I've had. Don't go to class unless there's a quiz or its the day before/of an exam. Must read the book thoroughly and DO THE HOMEWORK (not collected). I didn't do the homework and got the average, then did it for the final and did really well. Still ended up with a B-. Overall, this class and teacher are useless.

His lecture is based on the slides from the website. Boring.. I went to class when there's quiz. He gave three extra point(5pt each), since midterm was little bit(?) hard. Final won't that hard, if you study homeworks. 6 quiz and 6 homeworks, you can drop one. I think he is nice person but no passion for lecture..Not recommend to take his class..

He taught straight from the book. His pwrpoints were from the publisher, which you can download on its website! Boring, unhelpful, and spends class time talking to the board. 95% of the class never showed up. Don't take him, does not inspire you to learn.
