Comment:

Ill start with the fact that Im really sad that Ill never have her as a professor again. Shes so nice, caring, will help outside of class. Attendance isnt mandatory but she explains things well so you wont want to miss. She was really nice and funny. I recommend her 100% and I truly, truly, suck at math. I did a half semester class.

Comment:

Dr. Nazie is an amazing teacher; she works to make her students understand the material. Stats was a constant struggle for me, mainly because I took 4 other core classes at the same time. With that said, the instructor went above and beyond to try to help me get the concepts. Also, she speaks perfectly clear English (just saying).

I took the accelerated version of stats and she made it clear and was lenient enough for me to get the A that I still had to work for. There are easy group homeworks. Gives you a week to turn in assignments late before -10% per week. If she's available, it's not guaranteed A by just showing up but she helps A LOT!

I have taken calculus in high school prior to this class and if it weren't for that then i would of been lost. She teaches a simple concept, like derivatives, then for the first problem you have to do involves using LN or E. I don't recommend taking her unless you already know what you are doing.

TAKE HER! You will have 3 attempts at the HW & 2 on a quiz. At the end of the semester she gives an EXTRA attempt on ALL STATLAB. She is mildly energetic and CARES about her students. Trust me I know! I missed many assignments, but I'm about to get a B+ or sneak an A! Show her that you care, and in return she will care.

Good teacher but language barrier can make her instructions a bit unclear and difficult to grasp quickly. She is helpful if you need it though. Only bad thing is her homework and quizzes. They usually have a few problems you never learned how to solve and are always due at the worst times.

Azarnia is extremely helpful. Concepts are explained very well. She is very understanding and has a very good humor. She is always open to questions and during office hours. She will let you sit in on other classes if you need more time to understand concepts.

Her class is SUPER easy, if you fail then you're just too lazy to do the homework. She WANTS you to pass, but she can be kind of hard to focus on. She's so boring I often found myself dozing off in her class and the freezing studio. Nonetheless if you want an easy A take her. I made a B because I'm kind of lazy.

Great teacher. Took the condensed semester which was very challenging. She tries very hard to clarify questions. She is available to her students as often as we need at the office & by email. She really cares about her students unless you show no interest or respect towards her. If you show you care and want to learn she will do every to help you.

Her accent sometimes makes her difficult to understand but she will clarify. Very nice and helpful professor but a lot of the work is difficult. Used coursecompass for hw and quizzes. The book isn't needed but might be helpful for some.

This Teacher was extremely difficult. Her explanations were confusing & she wasn't that helpful. When it came time for test I always did the test study guide to help prepare me but half of those problems where never on the test which left me doubtful. I would choose another teacher unless you have prior knowledge in Statistics.

Great professor. Go to class and ask questions. Got an A in the course because I studied and went to class. May not be the easiest stat teacher but if you're planning on taking stat 2 you'll need a thorough knowledge of the material.

Comment:

Dr. Azarnia is the best professor at SFC! As long as you put in the effort, she will make sure you succeed. If you want an A, attend all class sessions. There are 4 tests, group activities, labs, and homework & quizzes are online. If you have at least a 97% you are exepmt from the final. She is wonderful! Take her!!!
