Comment:

Pamelas class was so interesting. Ive learned so much about older people and I LOVE IT. She incorporates videos and personal stories into her lectures, which makes it interesting. There are A LOT of assignments due throughout the semester, but they are pretty easy and youll get an A if you complete them. She is a bit disorganized, but its okay.

Comment:

Her lectures are interesting and applicable to real-life. Assignments, due dates, and online materials were disorganized but easy to keep up with. As long as you submit the assignment you'll get full credit. There are a few large projects (10 pages) and tests are difficult, but online & open-book, so use her power points.

9/10 teacher. A couple large essays to right (10pgs) but shes a fair grader, put in effort and you get an A. She realized that this is a GE class for a lot of us and we have work and lives and she doesn't make the class hard or stressful for that reason which is really cool. I actually learned a lot of interesting things! TAKE THIS CLASS FOR A GE

Comment:

One of the best professors I've ever had. Easy and understandable. Take this class if you want to learn about the life you're getting into, or if you panic a lot about your future. Papers are due once a week, but they are not required to sound like you're a genius. A class that you can be who you are and get an A.

You really do learn a lot from taking this class, which is specifically on the aging process. Everything is submitted online through Moodle, always with midnight deadlines. Professor Abbott-Enz is very sweet, and her assignments are really interesting and thought provoking too. Tests are a bit of a challenge, though are open book. Really good class

Very Very understanding prof. HW assignments are very doable, easy grader as long as you turn in an assignment. If you need an extension she's very easy going. Two final writing assignments but no bad at all. Easy A as long as you turn in your work

Pamela is an extraordinary professor! I absolutely loved her class. She lectures for the entire time of the class time, but she is so interactive and her material is so interesting that it's easy to pay attention in class. Her tests are online, open book, and as long as you do your work, she grades very fairly!

easy teacher. never bought textbook. was out sick for a month with mono, helped me get everything back together and sincerely cares. take home midterm and final, attendance activity points are on her powerpoints, so going to class isnt important. would take again for sure. so easy and she even says " this will not be the class that makes you fail".

I took this as an upper division GE course. It was easy although there are many assignments due weekly and 4 large assignments in addition. Tests are all online, and I never opened my book. The information is easy to understand and a lot is common sense. Pam was great, although I had difficulty sitting in three hour block lectures.

Easy GE. Follow her expectations and youll be fine. There are weekly assignments however she does work with students and will change due dates if the work is too much. Assignments: 10- 1 page responses, 1 interview paper, a 7 page research paper on any topic,1 retirement paper, 1 end of life paper,1 midterm&1 final (both multiple choice) online

Pam is very flexible and listens to the wants and needs of the students. She wants you to do well. You always get out early. There is a lot of work due at the end of the semester, but if you work ahead and don't procrastinate it's an easy A. 3 exams all online, but they're long and take some searching. Interesting material and great teacher overall

Don't get me wrong, she is a great teacher. She is very sweet, helpful, and her lectures are pretty interesting. However, this is NOT an easy upperdivision GE. During finals week expect two ten page essays, a test that will take you at least three hours and multiple other smaller papers. A LOT OF PAPERS. More papers than any English class I've had.

I took this class to fulfill one of my upper division GE's and it was definitely worth it. I did learn some valuable information, but it was also an easy A. Pam is one of the most accommodating and understanding professors I have had so far. She understands that we have other classes and will help in any way possible (she gives extensions)

Seriously the easiest mf upper division class. Yes theres a lot of assignments but she literally gives you full credit for all of them. If you dont do it obviously you wont do well but its honestly not bad at all. She is a sweetheart and understands students. Moodle is horrible an all but its def worth it. EASY A! and its interesting material.

If you don't like moodle don't take this class. Lots of busy work, and the amount information she expects you to learn for tests is ridiculously specific. I was taking this class as a GE and it wasn't worth it. The subject matter is interesting and she is very knowledgable and passionate but it was way too much work to not be for my major.

SO BORING maybe the most boring class I have taken, which sucks bc the material is actually interesting. BUT an easy A for sure!! Class is basically online, yet she NEVER responds to emails. She lets you out an hour early but assigns a TON of online homework. 15 online quizzes , weekly journalsresponses online, & a few big papers. Book required.

Its not easy. She has a lot of extra credit! and a lot of great opportunities to get full credit, but she assigns a lot of stuff through the semester and the only way to get an A is to get ALL the points on all the assignments. But seriously shes probably the funnest most down to earth and caring teacher I've ever had and I'm not just saying that
