Had her for FYS. Tough teacher, but helpful and gives great feedback. I'm only a freshman, but she's the best teacher I've had so far. Interesting lectures. I worked my butt off in her class and it paid off.

Professor Irwin was very helpful in teaching how to write. If you were interested in the class and genuinely tried she rewarded you. Those who didnt come to class suffered. If you read and participate (even if you didnt read) you will get an A. Really great discussions

Hated her. Very difficult teacher, harsh grader. She tends to favor students within her own major. She accepts no excuse for tardiness, despite her own casual lateness. In the business/accounting courses she shines, but outside of it she's awful and thinks she knows more than she actually does. Take for accounting, flee for anything else.
