Dr. Richardson is a very nice and personable professor. Very intelligent and funny guy that will teach you how to become a better public speaker. Show that you are actually trying and he will not give you a bad grade. Definitely an enjoyable class even for a non-com major and definitely a professor worth taking!

Sir is the best. He is a funny dude but also a great professor. He makes the class extremely interesting and he might seem as if he's off topic but everything he says actually pertains to the class. He gives great feedback on speeches and you will look forward to going to his class. He is a fair grader and doesnt give you more/less than you deserve

I learned so much from this class without realizing it at the time! Sir Richardson will challenge you and you will be confident speaking in front of the class before the end of the semester. I will be competing with Forensics because of his class next year. I would highly recommend him for the Comm requirement! I will miss his class.

Great class, took COM 203 in the summer after a rough freshman year. Now a sophomore COM major. The speech class was a little stressful at first with speaking in front, but I was fine by the end. His humor makes the material easy to learn and practically gives you the material for the tests. Book is hardly used but referenced and he's very helpful.

Dr. Richardson is a great professor. I do not like public speaking and he understands a lot of his students won't. The book isn't used in class but you are expected to know the material from it for the tests. Pay attention in the review sessions and during his lectures.

Dr. Richardson really made me enjoy this class, even though I hate speaking in front of others. He is very humorous person and he loves communications. His tests were easy as long as you paid attention in class. The book was useful only with a couple of terms we never discussed in class.

I've had Sir Richardson for several classes now and I find him extremely entertaining. He has a goofy sense of humor and he likes to be a goofball. He has a great passion for what he's teaching a he does a great job explaining what he wants and how to make improvements. On the negative side, he can get long-winded and boring at times.

Dr. Richardson is quite the character. He genuinely loves his job, and it definitely shows up in his passion for the material. Go to class, read the book, and actually LISTEN when he reviews for the test and gives pointers about your speaking method. Overall, one of the best professors at Berry. 'Nuff said.

This may be the worst class I had at Berry and this is my 4th year! He grades harshly, tests you on what he rambles about during class, and is never available outside of class. Avoid if this class if possible!

Nice, funny, but gets behind on grading. Also, take notes, even when he seems to be rambling- because he tests you on what he says. You never open the book in class, but you're still expected to know it. Oh, and don't bother memorizing your speeches- I did and people who didn't got better grades. Not an easy A, don't expect it. no +/- grades

Really funny guy and a great advisor! His discussions are interesting but unorganized. To do well on the test you have to read the book in detail and remember everything he's ever said. He seems to really like his students and his job. If you're any good at speech, he'll try to get you to join the Forensics Team. I enjoyed the class!
