Although I did well in this class, I can see why this is considered a tough class. He doesnt really teach you the material in the class, he just points out a few things. You really have to teach most of the stuff to yourself, which isnt hard at all, but requires actual work.

STAY AWAY!!! i took the class after reading what everyone else said and i feel like an idiot! do whatever you can to stay away! he is a smart guy but is a horrible professor! he is NOT helpful, my TA told us she wished she could re teach us everything but of course she didn't have time, even she knew he was an idiot!

Then he always says, "I hate this book...this book isn't right." He says he wrote a textbook but his publisher didn't print it. People in my class wrote a letter to the dean

this class was stupid. the lectures, tests, and material was a joke. It is easy if you actually try but after awhile no one went to class or bothered to study because it was pointless. the textbook he written is mediocre. I am an honors student and I got a C because it was a waste of time.

a lot of people are putting weisenberg down...but if you have any kind of biology background, even from high school bio you can't do bad in this class. i went to TWO lectures and held a B in the class. maybe if everyone wasn't taking the easy way out and blaming weisenberg for their own academic failures, he'd be a little nicer of a guy.

He thinks that you are an idiot. Never gives back tests. His curve is rediculous. He says you can get a 50% and get a B in the class, but even so, it's still a really hard class b/c he's that big of a jackass. If you get him as a prof, drop the course.

The teacher is very hard and throws away the tests after grades are posted, so you cant ever get them back. You think you do really good when you take it but then you see bad grades and wanna know why, hes really rediculous. I got a B in this class, but it was only because of the lab. Bad bad bad.
