Professor Murray an excellent history professor! A true mentor who cares about his students. Fair as long as you follow his syllabus and instructions. He is prompt in responding to all emails. Positive and motivating! I took two classes with him. Highly recommend! A+ professor.

I took his hybrid online class for history 111 and 112. I found the class to be very easy, if you stay on top of it. When the mid-term and final come along, he told the class exactly what to write. He is very nice and an overall great teacher. One of the best, if not the best!

Professor Murray is AWESOME! I hope he teaches other history courses. He made boring history come to life in his lectures. He is passionate about his subject and helps students when needed. Highly recommend!!!

I took both lecture and online classes with him. His lectures were really interesting. But I think his online classes were easier. you can get extra points in his online classes. it's much easier and i think he grades easier too. I got a easy A. And I also received 40 extra points. very helpful too

All you need is dont miss his class. He's lecture make you feel like watching a movie. He's a very very helpful teacher. If you have any problem, he can help you. Also, he replies e-mail very fast. I always got his reply in 2 mins~30 mins. As long as you compelete his HWs, you will be ok. Fair teacher by the way.

Very easy and good teacher, he knows his stuff. All you need to do is come to class and take notes on his lecture and you will easily pass. The book is really only needed for the once a week homework...and studying if you missed a class

I took this course online. He was very helpful in everything, he kept us on task, and he wanted us to pass. One midterm and a final, you know the essay questions ahead of time and the identifications. Overall, great teacher. Great for those who aren't very fond of history.

Most interesting lecturer at COC. Class is all lecture. Grade was 10% US map quiz, 10% attendance, 20% 5+ page book report on Frederick Douglass, 20% quiz's (open notes), 20% essay midterm and 20% essay final. Essay topics are known in advance (not open notes). Essay grading was tough/fair. Not for slackers. Note taking more important than reading.

I took Prof. Murray's History 150 summer school class. I didn't care for history but he made it very interesting. It's obvious that he has a passion for the subject and portrays it WELL to the students. With good note taking, I got an "A" without alot hard work.

GREAT INSTRUCTOR! I've always hated history, but thanks to him I've done well! he is great, take good notes (theyre very interesting), study his notes and you WILL pass. He tells you the topics on the midterm and final! He is a genius and knows history better than the book does! GREAT INSTRUCTOR!
