Good prof. Even tho his voice can be monotonous, this guy knows what he's talking about. Uses powerpoints to accompany lectures. Not the easiest class but study and you'll do just fine. Keep up with the readings, it helps. Not an easy A, most of the class falls in the B or C range, but he will give opportunities for bonus. I'd recommend him.

pretty monotone but straightforward with the information that will be on the test. if you go to class and read the assigned chapters you will most certainly pass the class. very helpful and the class was fairly easy.

I loved this class. He could get to be monotone at times, but if you listen carefully he drops hilarious jokes once and a while. He's a good guy, and doesn't seem to want to trick you. Make sure you go to class and write down almost everything he says... you'll be set!

Dr. Sekula is by far the greatest professor at Behrend. You get extra credit for every class you attend, his tests get increasingly easier, the final being the easiest-take him you'll fall in love with how accommodating and genuinely nice this guy is. Again, he's AWESOME.

at first, more than half of the class failed the first exam, after that he eased up on us quite a bit and he offers plenty of bonus points just for showing up to class, makes it very easy for you to get an A to A+

He's monotone but easy when it comes to grading. I got a D on the first test and I got B's and C's on the rest of them. Going into the final I figured out that the highest grade I could get in the class was a B+. He ended up gaving me an A for the course.

He definetly knows what he is talking about. If you cannot stay awake during monotone speakers then do not take this class for you will find yourself falling asleep alot (like I did). 18 kids failed the first tests of the year... but Eric is changing alot so we have a chance to pass... overall he's... Meh

His class is all lecturing, but its not bad at all. He has a monotone voice, but says jokes all the time. If you don't listen to him, youll definitely miss out on some funny stuff. If you read your material, and study notes you'll be fine. Over 60% of my class failed his first test, and he was more than willing to work with everyone. He offered bonus points, and made the future tests much easier. Great guy.

Dr. Sekula is a very down to earth treacher but a terrible lecturer and dosn't really teach the material. The test make up for that though they are faily easy.
