Dr. Croes is an excellent professor. Not only does he have great topic knowledge, his background in the industry, as well as in other fields, all serve as a huge resource for the students. He has great anecdotal stories as well, and is engaging with this students. Would take this class again in a heartbeat.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Croes as my professor twice; it is not as common to have such an experienced professor. He is a wealth of knowledge and gives very interesting lectures. I really appreciate that he treats you like an adult. He is also a very kind person and encourages everyone's participation. I enjoyed his class a lot.

Dr. Croes's class is very challenging. He doesn't baby his students like the other professors at Rosen, so if you're looking for someone that's thought-provoking and challenging, definitely take his class.

Dr. Croes' lectures are bland and unengaging. Please note: He is an extremely difficult grader, avg. note in class was a C+! Two take home exams and a final project which requires a written report and presentation make most of grade. Teaches pure theory only, not once mentioned real world examples/case studies. A fairly informative, yet hard class.

He is very passionate about the subject but goes overboard by treating the class like a grad class and his lectures monotonous. The tests are very tricky and some of the content is based on his opinions. The final project is also extremely time consuming and his expectations were unclear from the beginning.

This professor is monotonous but is also very professional about his subject. He will occasionally assign homework, but then only call on random people to turn it in. He only has two tests both of which are just take home papers. One large group project is required as well. I never opened the book. So all in all, boring but pretty easy.

Dr. Croes is an excellent professor & researcher! His teaching style caters to the graduate student that is excited to participate in traditional/sound research practices with a twist of creativity and forward thinking. I consider myself very fortunate to have studied under an expert that is as respected & experienced as Dr. Croes!

2 TAKE HOME ESSAY exams (50% of grade), one group project (25%) and attendance & assignments (25%). Class is hard to sit through but should go to get good grade. Answer exam essays thoroughly w/ info from textbook for an A. He's famous in Aruba, apparently big in the tourism research world. Take SuDoKu to class & chill! :-)

He is a very boring teacher!! His class is hard to sit through, and he passes around an attendance sheet most classes, and sometimes has in class assignments. His test are ALL essay with excel and take home. Group project is TOUGH!! if you dont have to take him dont, but if hes your only choice hes not that bad!!!

This teacher is very hard to understand. His tests are based on his opinions. I do not recommend taking him. The school puts TBA in the instructor area because they know no one wants to take him, so they have to put that to fill up the class. so be prepared if you do have him. You will be confused and will not learn anything.

Dr. Croes is tough, be prepared to study very hard, be open for critique, and realize that you will learn a lot more about economics, statistics and research this way than taking easy classes with easy professors. IF you are going to College to learn I definately recommend Dr.Croes, if not well.....

He is the worst teacher I have ever had. there were no tests, only papers, a final , and a project. He grades the papers ridicously hard and dosent explain why you got what you got. Nobody understands what he is talking about because he has horrible communication skills. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
