Horrible teacher. I had him online and if you have a problem good luck. Doesn't tech you about stats just gives you homework and you figure it out on your own. Don't take!!!

HARDEST class EVER. I'm an A student,but highest grade I'd got on a test? 50 something. Talked to advisor so seriously abt dropping, cried often. He's accessible outside of class, in class? a nightmare, will even laugh at you. Only got grade I did bc finals weighted so heavily & I studied for 35+hrs,made A solely bc tutoring center & Christ himself

Stat is a very hard class but I worked really hard and was able to pull out an A. Ron gives out many practice tests that are very similar to the real test which is very helpful.

He makes available 3 previous semester exams explaining each answer. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM. He will use a lot of the same questions just with different numbers. Half page cheat sheet allowed, I recommend putting examples of how to do each problem on there. He isn't bad. Take practice tests and the previous semester ones, they are very similar!!

Never made below a B in college and failed this class. Went to class everyday and he wouldnt work with me. He is probably the worst teacher I have ever had. I normally dont do these reviews but he was that bad. Dont take his class!

Worst class I ever took. Professor doesnt care or has no type or sympathy for your grade. You either get it or you dont point blank Period! You can write the whole study guide on the cheat sheet your allowed to use and still make a D on the test.

Comment:

Mr. Williams is a great person, but maybe not the greatest professor. The class, Stats for Business, may be somewhat difficult at times, but he understands that and gives quite a few extra credit opportunities. I recommend taking him if possible, just stay on top of his assignments and you should get an A.

Had to take this class a prereq for some of my other business classes. Don't waste your time if you have to do the same, try to get a different professor. Notes are on PowerPoints and he just reads from the slides (mono-toned). He's not that helpful when asked questions about the homework/test. The homework and tests are nothing like each other.

Comment:

Very boring professor but gives good examples in class. When you ask questions or for help in class not much is given. Attendance is taken every class. Practice tests are very similar to the actual tests which saved my grade. Not super hard class in general, but you have to put effort in.

I had to teach myself literally everything, tests are worded horribly and are much worse than the homework assignments. Cannot access past assignments to study for the final. 0/10. Do not do it.

Get your lube ready cause this guys gonna rail you pretty hard, the test are nothing like any of the homework or practice test, he let's you bring a cheat sheet but you can copy an entire practice test and it won't help... can't speak for any other professors but this is the lowest grade I have ever got

Only reason I didn't click "skip class? you won't pass" was because you would probably be better off skipping and studying by yourself. He reads the slides word for word and assigns 5 assignments the night before each exam. Its very hard to understand what he is talking bout half the time, I highly recommend taking your education somewhere else.

I was able to spend more time with Mr Williams than usual, seeing as how I had to retake his class. None of this is to blame on his teaching ability, purely my first semester of not showing up to class. The second semester I had him, I missed only one day and paid attention to all lectures. Class is truly easy and I wish I could take him again!

I hate that Mr Williams gets the rap he does, he is a very good stats professor. He is extremely knowledgeable in the subject matter, and is willing to help you if need be. His lectures are not the most entertaining, but it's hard teaching math to anyone. Only complaint I have is with Pearson Statlab, if you don't like online work, avoid.

Prof. Williams is an amazing teacher! He really breaks stats down into examples that you can understand and if you need him to slow down during a slide, he will do that. He lets you have a half page "cheat sheet" for each test which can have anything on it that can help you with the test. If you fail this class you just aren't trying lol

Professor Williams is a good guy, he tends to go faster than what the majority need in class but if you ask him to slow down he will do that for you. The best thing about this class is that he allows you to have a "cheat sheet" to write formulas or whatever you think you will need to use during a test. He's about as good as a math professor can get

Comment:

Took this online during the summer. Hard class to take compacted into 30 days, but not impossible. Homework load was unbelievable, and has assignments due on Fridays and Saturdays opposed to giving you until Sunday to do it all. Only drops 3 lowest homeworks, 2 exams are 25% and the final is 35%, allows a cheat sheet. Class could be a lot easier.

First of all I never missed a single day of class and still failed this class by one point. I hated this class with a passion so the fact I showed up every single day and paid attention I would have thought that would have helped. Plus his test were harder than all of the practice problems and what he taught us which really sucked.

I thought he was a really great professor. Went through the problems and was pretty straight forward about it. Even showed a couple of extra ways to approach problems that you could use. Definitely go to class because well IT COUNTS and where most of your basic learning is done. He always asks if anyone needs further explanation after problems.
