Comment:
If you have rated this professor poorly, you didn't bother to study or do the labs and then got upset because your grade reflected it. This professor is very clear of the expectations required of the course. I took him on a Chem 103 course, online, and one of the best experiences. Do your homework, do your labs, and you will pass the class.

Worst professor I ever had. He reads directly off the power-point slides. If a problem on a test isn't solved exactly how he wants them, he will mark them wrong even if the answer is correct. He doesn't explain things well. The only good thing about him is that he always grades the test fast.

He does not help you with work at all, gets rude with people who asks questions, and he reads right from slides. He talks to his self and bursts out laughing after he says things to himself. He will mark your things incorrect if they are not done just like he would have said it. No matter if you have the question correct , you will get points taken

This man is not a good professor. He is only there for a CHECK!He does not help you and only repeats questions back to you. He does not explain things well, and act as if you should know everything about chemistry. He will mark your answer wrong on your test, and someone else with the same answer will have theirs marked correct. RUNNN! FROM HIM!

He doesn't really know how to explain things. He just shows you an example and doesn't really know how to tell you how to really do it. You basically have to teach yourself. He grades shard, that even if you have the right idea it is still wrong unless you write it the way he asks. He covers material too fast and hates that people interrupt to ask.

Dr. Ruszczyk is an okay professor. He reads off of the slides but a plus is that he gives you "Supplemental Problems" to do which are example problems you can do before the test. You need to go to every class and lab though. Ive had to go online and watch video in order to know what to do...

Dr. Ruszczyk is a nice guy but he just kinda expects you to understand what he's talking about. Kinda gets annoyed when you ask questions and refuses to slow down. I know theres a lot to cover in the class but his pace is just too fast. Willing to help outside of class if you ask. Tests and homework are weekly. You have to be able to teach yourself

He's really boring and just reads right off the slides. Show up to take the tests and then show up so he can tell you what's on the next test. You basically teach yourself for the weekly tests.

Posts all material on the school site, and teaches from his power point slides. Print out the power points, read them, and do the exercises; and you'll get an A for sure... No ambiguity at all. Great Professor.

Dr. Ruszczyk is a very tough grader. He reads off the slides (Which i can do on my own time) and does not explain material clearly. He expects you to automatically understand what he is talking about. If I could change one thing about his teaching, it would be that he would explain how he got the answer instead of just providing one on the board.

He is a cool guy and he makes his expectation very clear. If you do the supplemental problems then you will understand the test material. There is a test every week without fail and they aren't long so everything counts.

Speeds through lecture and difficult to keep up with. Very intelligent but does not bring subject matter down to a level most students can comprehend. Most learning will be self taught and extremely time consuming

Worse teacher and class ever! He reads right off the powerpoint and doesnt like questions. I was failing all his tests. I tried to study as hard as I could but even when I thought I passed the tests, I would fail. Avoid taking his class. You will be bored out of your mind and lost! He gives tests AFTER reviewing new material! AVOID IF POSSIBLE!

He posts his lectures online so you have them before class. Gives example test questions in class, and example tests online. Homework in online with unlimited tries for answering. But you must come to class and pay attention to get the material. If you don't understand he will go over it again, just ask questions.

First day of class he told us that he spoke Klingon... He gives 12 question Exams, and doesnt actually teach. He just reads you powerpoint slides. If you have a question about something he just flips to a slide that he thinks will explain it...thats not teaching.

This is the first science course many take after high school. In college you learn in 28 classes more than you learned in 180 days in high school. The pace has to be fast to get in all the required material. Homework for the semester is given out the first class, but many don't bother to do it. Come to class, pay attention, and do homework.
