Ryan is a spectacular professor. This class isn't what U would expect for a math class. It is a lot more fun and interesting than any class I have taken. It's based on everyday questions that require a more in depth look to figure out and that's what you work on in this class. U must attend every class as it is essential to the hw and your grade.

Best Professor in the Math Department. He explains concepts clearly and gives extra credit on every exam. Tests can be challenging sometimes. Never used the textbook since all homework is online.

Dr. Ryan Zerr is by far one of the best teachers on campus, and this is the first year he taught this class. He is a VERY smart guy, and can explain things well to a layman when he needs to. If only I had more room here to express how good of a teacher he is. But after taking the class, I have to totally new-found respect for the history of math.

He is an awesome prof. He wants his students to succeed but you still have to work hard to get an A

He is a good teacher. He makes homework and tests really hard, but it is only because you are able to do corrections on the test for 50% back. It is had to get the full 50% back though.

One of the best professors I have had at UND yet. Any time he is in his office, he is willing to help you even if the problem is not related to the class material. A very nice guy who puts his students first. Would highly recommend him to anyone taking any math course. But you have to work hard and not expect easy problems. Dedication is needed.

Amazing teacher! Gives a lot of points out, but makes sure everyone understands everything. Goes at a really good pace, uses the whole semester to teach, instead of cramming everything in as fast as possible. very friendly, great at helping when you don't understand something, which doesnt happen much cause he explains so well!

Grades on a point based scale rather than a percentage based scale. Meaning once you get to a certain point level you have that grade no matter what happens in the rest of the semester. Gives partial credit but also takes off points for minor things so it balances out. Can do test corrections to get points back. Offers numerous extra credit chances
