Comment:

Blaze is a cool guy, funny, and teaches good. The material is tough and boring, but he gives extra credit. He really tries hard to teach and be helpful. The first two tests are the toughest then they get easier. On the first day he says you'll be there till the end every day. But we got out early nearly every day, usually by 9 or before.

He is a nice guy. It would be hard not to pass his class. Exams are open book/notes. You have a work assignment in class and you have to read the chapters as homework. I highly recommend this class.

Blaze is a nice guy,his tests are easy,everything is open book/notes.You've gotta read the book,his exams are multiple choices.I got an A with no problem,and he gives you a final assignment which is extra credit(50 points).You'll pass it,just read the freaking book.I hate reading,but i had no choice

He knows his stuff. He is monotone and class can be pretty boring but his tests are open book. Final was just 3 last chapters from book and lets you use notes and book. He also gives a final extra credit project that's worth 50 pts - boosts you up a whole grade. Impossible not to pass this class !!!

Since he's so advanced in his career as an accountant, he expects his students to already know the basic stuff. Most of the students I spoke to in the class said they were confused and struggling in the class. The tests are open notes, but still a struggle. If you already have basic knowledge of accounting, it may be a breeze for you.

Comment:

Open note quizes and open book exams. Lets you drop lowest score from first two exams. Extra credit project can easily bump you up an entire grade. I agree with a previous post, if you don't do well in this class then you're an idiot.

Not a brilliant teacher by any means, but he definitely got the job done. I took the class with another proffesor and got a D, took it with blaze and got an A. Open book/note tests, can't ask for much more. Extra credit is optional and worth a crap load of points. Plus he's kinda funny. Highly suggested.

IF YOU DONT DO WELL IN THIS CLASS UR AN IDIOT! BLAZE IS A NICE GUY AND WILLING TO HELP. SURE, HE'S A BIT DRY BUT GET OVER IT AND ENJOY THE OPEN BOOK/OPEN NOTE TESTS, + EXTRA CREDIT PROJECT IN THE END. EASY A IF YOU SHOW UP AND TRY.

Blaze is a typical CPA. He knows his stuff but isn't the best communicator. His lectures are straight from the book and kinda boring. When you get to know him he's a pretty nice guy. Make sure you show up to every class and make sure to ask questions. Tests are open book open note.

He is a bit difficult to get used to. Very straight forward, just the facts ma'am. That being said -- he will stay late and explain anything you need explained and clarify anything you need clarified. Open note/book tests, open note quizzes + xc project -- you should get an A in this class.
