Easy class for Micro-econ. Just read the book and follow the powerpoint slides. In class attendance is not really necessary as he follows exactly what is on the slides. He is a funny man and willing to help if you see him during office hours. Overeall, easy A.

I don't like the fact that he just relies on PowerPoint slides. I find his classes boring and I blame Microsoft Office for that!

Teacher has a good sense of humour. The lectures are interesting and the teacher will keep you awake. HOWEVER!!!!, if you don?t study hard chances are you are going screw your GPA. This class is study intensive!!! On a class of a 100 students 20 dropped out and 19 failed. Exams are all multiple choice and you might have to draw some graphics.

tough class. he's a PhD in economics, but a very difficult person to pay attention to. you're better off teaching it to yourself from the book. don't waste your time by attending. for the assignments, he's helpful. pleasant guy: a sweet man. his lecturing goes in one ear and out the other though. uses powerpoints a lot that are online. ave was C.

Had him for Micro and Macro now. The one thing I've learned about Said, is that you shouldn't attend his class, ever. Read the chapters yourself, slides are available for download. Although it's clear that he knows his stuff, I learned nothing from him. I slept through the ones I did attend on those Saturday mornings. Got A's and hardly studied.

I totally disagree about the accent part. I didn't notice any accent. The professor speaks English very well and I had no difficulties understanding anything he was saying in class.

Knows the material but is excessively boring. He has a heavy accent and you must pay much attention to understand what he's saying. Sit close! You MUST understand the whole book. He says if you read the book, you'll get an A-. But you need to pretty much memorize the book, do practice questions, be attentive and ace the assignments to get a B.

Don't expect an easy "A" from this class. There is tons of material to cover, the book is not very well written, you must study a lot on your own, make sure you get a perfect score on both of the assignments. Pay close attention to mockup midterm and finals. The teacher is very busy , he will NOT answer any of your emails.

I really like this teacher so much that I ignore his certain pronounce tone. He likes to call his student “my friend” after class. He mastery teaching content and very nice to his student. He encourages me in study and helps me done well in other 3 courses. I am lucky to be his student and learn more beyond the class. I enjoy following him to learn

If you take a course with that guy, a) you are desperate; b) you are reckless. His lectures consist of powerpoint presentations, which consist of paragraphs from the textbook. He reads paragraphs from the textbook, and that's the only thing he will do. A weak wireless microphone with his unusual accent make his communication unintelligible.

If you want to waist your time take hime.I participated in Carol Lau's class and learnt a lot there. He has no economics knowledge. He always used to tell me "STOP ARGUING" instead of listening to my questions. Ask him to solve a question, he will never do that, he will solve something else! Also lots of mistakes in the midterm and final.

A very nice guy, he teaches the content very clearly. His biggest fault is that he doesn't stray from the book at all. This makes the class easy to pass but he doesn't enlighten anything with his experience.

He is a good guy,and helpful after classes. However his English is terrible, maybe you can not understand on class. His exams are not difficult, and notes are clear.
