Comment:

Above and beyond teacher who really cares about the success of her students. She presents class material incredibly efficiently, gives great notes, and really listens to her students. Listen to what she says in class, put effort into the homework, and ask for help when you need it. Definitely in my top three list for both distance and on campus.

She just mugs up a bunch of notes, speaks too loud. Does not explain things. If she misses something or tells something wrong and you pint out then you clashed her EGO. Be Aware. Even if wrong do it exactly the way she did it in class. Never try to correct her. You will be safe. She just wants us to mug up and deliver.

Always willing to help. You can tell she knows the material but she sometimes has trouble explaining the material if you are unprepared. She takes her class time seriously and expects you to do the same. I would recommend her classes but they are not going to be easy.

I didn't like her teaching style at all. Every lecture was straight from the book. Homework problems are kinda hard. I would prefer her doing homework problems, than read material from the book, because I can read the book myself.

Started off kinda rough but got much better. She really tries to learn what her students need and will adapt to that...will be UMRs best IST professor in a few years. If she doesn't go back to Purdue.

Comment:

Dr. Sedigh-Ali is one of the clearest professors I have seen. UMR needs more young professors like her. She gives help sessions before the exam and group exercises in the class to keep everybody prepared. HOT!!

Very clear and easy to understand. No accent. Has put in an enormous amount of work into her lectures. She is new but does not ^&^* up like many new professors. I would take another course with her anytime.

Possibly the worst teacher I've had. Makes blatant errors and then argues rather than admit being wrong. Contradicts herself regularly. Entire class is confused. I honestly don't believe she understands the material.
