unpredictable class. never know what to expect on tests. take notes on what he says in class don't worry about reading the book. test is 5 questions with 4 lines. pretty funny guy however, get him to like you. go to his office hours and you might get a better grade than a C or a F

Had him for class over 25 years ago. I got an A on the first test and a B on the final. All I can say I took a lot of notes and didn't mind answering essay questions. I remember going to visit him a few years later. He remembered me and shook my hand. Study hard kids. TW Carl

I'm pretty sure he's borderline mental, though he does have the greatest quotes you'll ever hear uttered by a professor. His grading isn't nearly as bad as people are saying here. I got B's in both of his classes. Just take notes and study that, don't buy the book. Exam questions are always from in-class discussions, not that hard.

Comment:

Eccentric, entertaining, and is certainly an experience. There is a midterm and final (both of which you will fail). Projects are useless and easy to do. Expect a C at the end of the semester, no matter what you put into the course. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Worst ever. This guy tells blatant lies to the class about statistics that cannot be true. He also shows up late every class by 8-12 minutes. Very unclear. Tests are impossible. Class is boring, but can be entertaining if he starts cracking jokes or telling stories. Exams are pretty comical as well when you get them back

This guy is absurd. He does not explain anything well and the tests are impossible because no matter how right you are he marks it wrong and justifies it somehow. He also makes the entire class do presentations on the same thing...30 ppl talking about the same thing 3x a year.

He's hard. Extremely tough exams, very unclear sometimes. But he's got a big heart and a great sense of humor. He downplays his intelligence and it often comes off as senile, but talk to him one on one sometime. Go to every class, pay attention to little details. He forces you to think out of he box, but guys...this is college. Got a B.

Extremely unclear about everything. I dont know what planet the previous person is on, but you will take nothing away from Qureshi's class. His lectures are so boring although he's easy to get off topic and is really funny. Everyone I talked to, including myself, got a C. GL!!!! Marketing students can't really avoid taking him!

Ok, he is an extremely tough grader, almost impossible to get an A. But...you'll take more away from Qureshi's classes than most BU business courses. Teaching style forces students to actually learn material (instead of memorizing vocab and taking MC tests). Got a B by studying very hard.

terrible class. comes atleast 10 min late everyday. tests are impossible, almost no one passes them. doesnt even talk about marketing, just random stats about countries. i learned nothing.. class is ammusing though, he wears pink sunglasses and his website is hilarious.. and appreciates april fools jokes and youtube

Had him for International Marketing and Marketing Mngmt. He's a very bad teacher who doesn't make any sense. His tests are not on anything you learn in the class. The only good thing about him is he's funny, but the humor wears off when the WHOLE CLASS GETS D's!!!

If you go to all his classes, he gives you 10 free points towards your final grade, which is a good deal to me. It helped me pass with a D. Whatever you do, DON'T buy the book. I spend 131 bucks on the book and opened it once. Also, he gets a new edition every semester. It isn't worth it. Borrow the book from a friend. His tests are impossible.

Qureshi is the worst prof I've ever had. His tests are worth 80% of your grade and they are impossible to pass. The first test of the semester, everyone failed, with the highest grade being a 67. He yells at students if they argue with him. I would not recommend Qureshi as a professor to anyone.

We called him The Dude in class so you think hed be this totally chill guy who taught an easy class. Wrong! He makes you get the book but he never teaches from it and is very unclear when he's presenting information in class. He tells you to study one thing and then tests on other stuff. Terrible.

This guy is totally insane!! His lectures are unusual and are often not intelegeble, not due to his accent but his unusual style of explaining things. Extreemly little content is covered in a class often due to the immature nature of the class. Deviates heavily from the textbook.
