This professor was probably one of the worst ones I have had yet. We go to class and she lectures the whole time. No breaks, no questions, and she doesn't tell us what is important and what is going to be on the quizzes. We also had 2 papers that were based off two books which were easy. Honestly she wasn't horrible, but you WONT learn a thing.

I would not recommend taking Professor Pryor because in class, all she does is put up powerpoints and lecture. Each slide has at least 6 bulletpoints that are full sentences. While she has the slides up, she talks and youre supposed to write down what she says too. She also only stays on the slides for maybe 3 mins. Very hard to keep up.

She was a soft-spoken teacher. I barely went to class and still passed. I brought the books to write the 2 papers on but barely used them also. If you need the credit, I say take her.

First, she does not like laptops for not taking unless you have accessibility, but I am sure if you talk to her she will not have a problem as she is a very nice woman. Be prepared as her powerpoints are just and outline and she will give a lot of information about that outline. Get the papers done and turned in on time, and STUDY. YOU WILL DO FINE

If you think this is a class you plan on skipping, don't take Professor Pryor. She is very lecture heavy, talks the entire class period while being softspoken. Her powerpoints aren't that helpful for studying; the textbook is more useful. None of the tests are multiple choice and you basically have to buy three books while two of them for papers.

If you take it online: A midterm and a final. Essay exams. 2 hard papers. And discussion boards. She takes for ever to responde to emails, and even longer to grade everything. However, this class was an easy A.

I take this class online as part of my option D choices. Its a history class so be ready to read, but again it's history so its actually interesting. The only thing I don't like is that its an online class and she can take almost a week to reply to emails. Other than that its an easy A.

Dr. Pryor is a sweetheart, but very soft spoken. Her class is very lecture heavy which makes it absolutely boring unless you are completely indulged by American History. There are few grades in this class, so study hard for test and quizzes. The papers for her class are very mediocre and she is a fairly easy grader.

This was the most boring class I have ever taken. I disliked her teaching method. She was very monotone. The majority of the class never showed up. She says she takes attendance and you are given 3 excused absences, but no one ever showed up. If you want an easy A, take it, she's just boring.

Professor Pryor herself is not a bad person. I personally didn't like her teaching method. She has only 2 papers, 2 Article Analysis, the Midterm, and the Final to grade off of, so you must do good on them to pass. She is monotoned and very unorganized which kept me a little on edge for the class. Doesn't get back to you on time when you email her.

Waaaahhhhh! So many millenials whining about having to work to get a grade. Yeah she's quiet so you have to listen. Her knowledge of the material is outstanding and her tests are grinds, but she is decent, approachable and will give you every chance to pass. DO THE WORK!

2 tests, 2 reflections on articles (that she gives you), and 2 book reflections. VERY BORING. monotone and quiet. does not take attendance, but will tend to give extra credit. takes very long to grade and get back to you. seems to get overwhelmed with the amount of grading and just give you a grade just to get it over with which works in your favor

Speaks very monotoned and quietly, this class can be boring because most are probably not very interested in the lecture, you can pass if you get all of the required books and study on your own time, but having a more interesting teacher would be more beneficial.

This course was offered online. Her schedule is incredibly flexible, she offers extra credit opportunities, and has an incredibly generous grading platform. I am normally not a fan of rating classes as "easy," but this one made for a pretty easy A if the effort was put in. Plenty of writing and she expects you to soak it in. A great experience.

She is a sweet lady but her teaching style is boring. She is very soft spoken and can sometimes be hard to hear. Requires lots of reading but relatively easy. You have to study hard for the test because she gives over 70+ words which might come up for short answer and only 5 do. Gives out extra credit and is flexible with deadlines!!!

HORRIBLE teacher! Yes she is very nice, but kindness isn't going to get me a good grade. Power Points are almost useless, quizzes are every 8 chapters, you can't hear her, and her papers are impossible. DON'T TAKE HER!!!!!
