Comment:
Worst econ teacher at green bay! I had no idea what he was talking about, not only because he has a thick accent but because his take on economics is naive and he makes outrageous assumptions! I cannot believe uwgb would allow a professor like this to go unchecked. I am an econ major and am very disappointed in the program!

I loved this class and thought that professor Shariff was a great professor. Sometimes his accent was a bit thick but I can honestly say that it was not bad enough that one could not understand. He infused humor and made Economics interesting.

He knows his stuff, but very hard to understand. He tends to jump all over the place and you cant follow what hes trying to get across. Fun to watch him struggle with a few things like the overhead or his microphone. Tests are hard, but he curves everythings so you have a chance even if you fail. (I failed all 3 exams and got a C in the class lol)

He is very hard to understand. Make sure to know the circular flow diagram well and any time he says "this is important" you can be assured that you will see the material on the test. I taught myself out of the book since I couldnt understand him nor read his writing on the overhead

Very Nice Man overall, but terrible teacher. The speech impediment kills any shot he has at teaching. So hard to understand and very hard to ask questions to. Has quite the accent so if you are uncomfortable, then please do not take the class. He tries, i will give him that...

Enjoyable if you're more concerned with observing the frustration of your peers than with your own success. Has a firm grasp of his material but struggles to convey it because of his strong accent. Good for a few laughs in class however.

Not an easy class;very hard to understand. Hard to read his notes and goes too fast. Long tests and very challenging. Hard to approach with questions because he doesn't understand what you might be asking...very frustrating class.

Difficult class. Going to class is not mandatory and that's good because he is very hard to understand. Read the book over and over again and you can get a good grade.

Hard to understand and difficult to work with. If you email him he will print it and mock you in class. He tries to slow down at times but then just goes back to not helping students. He gets off topic very easily and does a poor job of teaching. Do NOT recommend.

Avoid if possible. English language skills are lacking, and it's really hard to follow what he's saying, let alone take good notes. He's a good guy, but ridiculously hard to understand, and his tests are pretty hard. Class itself is boring, if you want to stay away, I wouldn't recommend taking an 8 am class with him.

Very hard to understand, and when a few people finished their exams earlier than others he decided the next exam needed to be longer. Repeats himself fairly often.
