Knowledgeable, grades attendance & class participation, replies to emails/gives graded items back promptly, likes her papers to have personality (the topics are subjective, after all). Maybe that's cause I'm really interested in subject, but I really want to add that tests were not hard at all. Just what she showed in class. And all the power point presentations were in laulima, so really no problem.

I really enjoyed Sarah's class. She's such a nice teacher and really into what she teachers. Her tests were the hardest thing about her class because there were so many dates, names, and time periods. Kind of sparked more interest in art!

Sarah Bremser is the coolest teacher I've had at KCC. (I got my AA already) I definitely recommend her class if you are somewhat interested in art. if you need to take a WI class, take her Western Art History class. I know it sounds difficult and boring, but you'll thank me later.

If you miss class she will get an attitude when telling what you missed. Her test are ridiculous!!! The first two are fill in the blank and she covers so much material it is very difficult to know all of it. She says she is gong to give you a study guide which you will have to beg her for and then it doesn't help. The rest of the class is cool

Great knowledgeable professor and easy class! She's enthusiastic and full of energy. Her assignments aren't hard: sketchbooks, a few essays, two projects (no rules for them!). She grades you for your effort and not on your skills and always gives you positive feedback. Her exams come with study guides from her power points that are posted online.

Enthusiastic instructor, knowledgeable, friendly, approachable. Text is useful when reviewing for tests, although if you're a good note taker, you may be able to get pretty far without the text. Papers are on the informal side, journals are informal. She seems to like papers with "personality." Too bad she doesn't teach other art courses.

I love her class, she's an amazing teacher, very nice as well. Don't use your phone in class and don't sleep when she's lecturing, that's her pet peeves. But over all, she's awesome and recommend to take her.

She was very funny, but of course my classmates were the quiet ones while I LOL in her class! Her exams are not that bad as long as you pay attention in class and take notes! She would always ask if you need help or if you have a problem. But overall She is COOL!! But she sent us to the museum which was interesting & because its free! SO TAKE HER!!

For a few days I borrowed her textbook, and I felt trusted. She is very civil. She will answer the most minute questions with attention. What she teaches is clear and exact. With incredible grace she balances learning by memorizing and learning by doing, and class becomes invigorating fun. A little effort and imagination goes a long way.

Sarah Bremser is the best teacher ever! She is very enthusiastic and energetic. She makes class very fun and entertaining. Her classes are also very easy. Even though you don't get good grades on your exams, don't sweat it. As long as you work hard on your other projects (sketchbook, etc) an A is guaranteed!

I loved Sarah! She was always energetic and so excited every day. There was never a day where she wasnt happy. All you had to do was was show up to class and take notes from her slides. Very organized and easy to understand. A couple of projects due, but nothing hard.For WI, a journal every week. If you show up and do your work you'll get an A.

Fun class! You will have a Museum Paper to write, but just go to Academy of Arts/Bishop Museum/etc., choose an artwork, draw it, and write a reflection :) she gives you lots of time to do projects and there aren't many to do anyway. For Writing-intensive credit you write journal entries. She grades effort and participation, not artistic ability.

Awesome teacher! Knows her materials really well. She makes art history fun and interesting. Her exams are real easy and straightforward. All of her tests are based on notes and handout so be prepared to take lot of notes which it will help you to study for the exam.
