Grant's class was organised and well-thought-out! He provided students with chances for extra credit, was attentive, and always willing to help each student with the material. Even though our class went online midway, he still managed to ensure that we got the best learning experience.

Material was very difficult. He was very strict in class, but decent and cute not to feel intimidated by. Although class was dull and quiet, there were fun activities towards the end of the semester. He was helpful with one of our nutrition project. Word of advice: print out the PPT and study the key terms and functions. Will help you on the exams.

Dr. Itomitsu is a great professor. He knows his stuff. I learned a lot from him. The course might seem hard because it talks about nutritional topics, but he makes his lectures easy for everyone to understand and will provide examples. Study study study. He will have study guides. He cares about his students. P.S. Don't bring plate lunch.

I usually don't write reviews for professors but Grant deserves one. He is an amazing teacher and you can tell he is passionate about science. His lectures are heavy, lots of note taking but if you go to class, you should pass with flying colors. He makes sure his students understand the material and he always offers extra credit. Love him!

He's a really enthusiastic professor, and he is willing to go the extra mile so that students leave class knowing more. Really appreciated the opportunity to be in his class.

This class is NOT easy, again this class is NOT easy. BUT, if you GO TO CLASS, Do your homework, Read the textbook, take review quizzes, you will have no problem getting an A. Grant is a bad man and he does his job & knows what his talking about. He is always there to help and do whatever he can to help his students learn and grow.

Grant is an amazing teacher!! He knows everything he is teaching which gives him immense credibility. If you reach out to him for help, he open up his office hours and will go over everything with you (I recommend this for his class). His exams aren't super tough if you study and understand the material. The final is accumulative but mult. choice.

Grant was one of my favorite professors. I enjoyed his lectures and the way he presented the material. I learned a lot from him and as a bonus, he offered so much extra credit, I finished the semester with more than 100%. You do need to go to class and do all the work he assigns.

Good teacher, knows his stuff. You don't really have to read the text because he'll go over everything you need to know during his lectures. You should still read though. It'll make the class easier. Death by powerpoint, but it's nothing boring. Tests and quizzes are on Laulima. This class should be easy as long as you read, take notes, and study.

He's a great teacher, the reason why i'm going into dietetics now. Honestly, you don't need the book. Everything you get quizzed on, is in his lecture notes. Always there to help you when you need it, and will make time in class if you don't understand things. Gives extra credit, always available to answer questions.

I took his summer course. Lots of reading, but that was the nature of the course and being a summer course. We did projects and I still remember the material. He is approachable, creative, understanding, and knowledgable about his topic. Ask questions, there are discussions and extra credit is given. Exams were short and direct. PPTs helpful.

professor grant is good at what he does--teaching and helping his students in need with the exam prep or extra credit help. His class can be difficult if you dont study up before the exam. His exams are based off the lecture slides and some of the content wilo touch base on the textbook (binder version). Just do your best :]
