Professor Seccombe is a great teacher. She will help you out on your journals and writing assignments if you ask her. Do all your homework and you will be fine. She gives few tests so there is no need to worry about your grade dropping significantly. Participating is key. She believes that every student should do well. Overall a great professor.

She has been by far my favorite professor! I learned so much from her and she is VERY helpful. Take her writing assignments seriously and it will be an easy pass! Attendance and participation are a big deal to her. I recommend her for English 099 and I wish she taught every other English class so I could take her again!

The first day of class, I was sort of intimidated because she comes off as strict, but honestly this was the easiest class ever! The homework is beyond easy and there are barely any tests! The final was a piece of cake! Take her!!

In the beginning i was nervous, she seemed tough. i ended up really liking her, she helped me improve so much in my essays. great teacher! loves what she does. would recommend her to anyone even if english is not your thing. one of my favorite teachers
